Non jazz 2019 playoff discussion.

65 minutes in a game is a playoff record in modern era. It is the most in a game since Dale Ellis and Xavier McDaniels played 69 and 68 minutes in a 6 OT game in 1989.

Hood with his amazing game every 10th game. This game will earn him a bigger check for sure. Good for him!

So best line by a former Jazzman tonight?

G Hill 4/3/21 (That toe has finally healed)
Gordon Van Vliet 7/5/10 (Jazz gave him the Keys to the franchise and he gave them right to Robyn, Boston wishes the Jazz would take him back)
P Millsap 13/1/17(Jazzfanz knew he was washed up in 2013, long before Denver thought he was)
Trey Lyles DNP (Tyler Lyndon too)
Enes 15/0/18 (Portland pays him$642,089 which is 2.7% of Rudy's salary. Jazz sure got the last laugh)
Rodney Hood 2/1/19 (went to the ft line 7 times, which is more than his entire ft total as a Jazzman)

But but but... Dennis drafted Mitchell!

Nah, what you showed us is that we’ve screwed up. Small markets can’t hemorrhage assets like we have done.

What did we get for trading Kanter to OKC? A bag of chips?

To be fair, Kanter playing well is very unexpected. He was sucking until he got to Portland. Even if he turns out to be a good player, I don't think there was any scenario we could have expected more than the bag of chips that we got for him.

Hood, on the other hand, always seemed to have potential and just needed the right fit. If the Jazz were more offensive minded I think he could have done well here.

I can't sleep, even though I'm exhausted from watching 4 OTs. Too keyed up! Can't imagine how the players feel.

It was fun watching all the former Jazzmen have good games tonight.
