What's new

You're the GM this offseason. What do you do?

Michael Jordan had a losing record in every season AND a 1-9 playoff record before Scottie Pippen and Phil Jackson came. I'm not saying Donovan is MJ, but you have to have help in this game of basketball.
This is what I mean. U say he's not MJ. But he shouldn't even mention Donovans name in the same topic as mj. I actually feel sorry for donovan he's to over hyped unfortunately for him. Calm down people. I'll say this jazz have a good team a very deep team. The problem is they don't have a star that can push them to the top. Jordan had no one. I feel sorry for donovan to much expectations

The kid's only 22 years old and just finished his second season. He probably carries a bigger offensive burden than anyone in the entire NBA because the Jazz don't have a second option on offense, every teams defensive game plan centers around stopping Donovan. I think it's pretty incredible the way he's been able to carry this team to the playoffs the last two seasons and advance past the first round last season. He's a special player with a chance to be one of the very best players in the league, the Jazz need to get him some offensive help.
They actually do they went away from it against the rockets. They should of played more Joe ingles at the top playing P/r. They made him a spot shooter.

Donovan Mitchell was the first rookie since Wilt Chamberlain to lead his team to a first round playoff series win while leading the team in scoring at 20+ per game.

Now I don't think Mitchell will be MJ, but he's had a pretty amazing start to his career.

And let's be honest - MJ had 5 losing seasons and never had success without the best coach in the history of the game and a top 50 player of all time teammate who Phil called the best defender he ever saw. If we got Donovan that type of wing man, who knows....

If Dante now were able to have the year Donovan had last year, Jazz would by all over his junk pimping him out like you’ve never seen before. I know that’s hard to believe because it seems like he’s doing that anyway, but whatevs.

Stop making excuses and stop blaming someone who's been injured for the majority of his career and who hardly played minutes when he has played. The jazz problems aren't Dante. It's the fact that people think Donovan is god and he can't do no wrong. He's not as good as everyone thinks. But I still think he has great potential though and seems like a great kid.

Wow. So much smart.

The majority of people wouldn’t call Phil Jackson the best coach in the history of the game imo.

What do U mean I don't think. Of course he won't be Jordan FML. He won't even be as good as Pippen. You're saying he needs that type of wingman like Pippen. He'll never be as good as Pippen as well. FML. Stop putting these names in the same comparison it's getting ridiculous.
