Kemba or Tobias, who would you rather have?

Kemba or Tobias, who do you take?

I take Harris, and bring in Elfrid Payton, Payton played really well the last few weeks of the season.

lol the last few meaningless weeks of the season means squat. He's nearly as bad a shooter as Dante except he's played a lot and been able to demonstrate without any doubt that he's no good

Kemba and it's not particularly close. I think his size issues are overblown as the Jazz don't need to be big to get past the elite teams in the West, if anything we've learned that it's important to have a potential option where the Jazz can play with Gobert off the floor for stretches of the game (Favors did a great job for example), and the Jazz have the perfect pieces to stick around Kemba defensively to mask his size disadvantage against matchups with big teams.

I think the Jazz would be ****ed trying to beat a team like the Bucks, but I don't think Tobias does anything to move the needle in that regard either while also making it harder to advance through the West.

I'm torn really. Mitchell and Kemba give us dangerous guards like Portland. Yet Tobias gives us versatile scoring and length. We should get Beverley tho he has what we need .

I like Kemba more as a player but..
Tobias. Fills a bunch of glaring holes on the roster; can be a premier scorer or tertiary one, efficient scorer, creates more spacing, plays a position of greatest need. I feel Kemba's size next to Mitchell isn't a plus, and I think they're kind of duplicitous.

It would obviously be great to have either.

Jk, he said it all. I would definitely wonder how a Kemba Mitchell backcourt would look going deep into the playoffs, the size could be an issue.

Mitchell, Gobert, Harris just feels like a better balanced ‘big 3’

Either one would be awesome, obviously.

I don't think either of them would betray us, tbh

Getting either guy would obviously be huge. But, if I got to choose, I'd choose Kemba. I'm a big believer in what Portland has been able to pull off the past couple of years with two different ball handlers with two different skillsets. It's very hard to defend.

And imagine if they had Gobert. They'd be terrifying.

I picked Tobias... getting his playmaking from that spot may allow us to put more playmakers on the floor... it was really tough.

My rationale is that point guards and wings with shooting ability and some level of playmaking are more abundant than 4s that do it.

Being younger and an easier fit also factor in... I also think we could still get Conley later if we signed Tobias... and I think that fit with DM might be better than Kemba... I worry DM and Kemba May end up not work well together and freeze out other guys (not a lot of mouths to feed but still) I think Conley is a better distributor, but in Kemba defense... who the hell should he distribute to?

Tobias has Great size. Looks thick. Solid. Tight.

But Kemba has continued to progress. I wanna see more pics or vid clips. I wanna see what he’s got man. Wanna see how freakin' solid, thick and tight he can get.
