Yep.
I refuse to go camping on the weekend anymore.
10 years from now I will probably just give it up altogether since the weekdays will be packed with people and the wilderness will be much smaller and farther away.

Yeah I'm always confused by the people who do most of their camping on major holidays.

That Everest pic is nuts. Kinda takes away from the "accomplishment" a bit when it's akin to standing in the line at Space Mountain. Granted, i couldn't climb Everest, but I'm an old, bald, fat guy who can't do most things life has to offer.

Summit K2 or Annapurna, I'll be impressed.

You should really really watch The Dawn Wall and Free Solo.
Both fantastic movies about amazing record breaking accomplishments in climbing.
The Dawn Wall is the better movie but Free Solo is the more impressive accomplishment and is just plain edge of your seat scary

I’m getting really freaking sick of this rain. My 11 year old son’s baseball team was supposed to be in a tournament in Utah County this weekend. We were supposed to play two games on Friday (both rained out), two games on Saturday (one rained out, but we played one), and have championship rounds today. Instead, two of our games were rescheduled for this morning, but both were canceled. So the team spent $525 (no refunds) to play one game, all while keeping us chained to the area hoping we could play.
