What's new

You're the GM this offseason. What do you do?

Conley is eons better than Russell. You'd have to be a complete moron not to recognize that.

Russell is barely even good right now. He had an outlier season in terms of mid-range shooting. You have to really hope he takes some big 5th year leap and makes fundamental changes to his play-style.

Russell is eons better than Conley at the same age. Conley in his 4th year and a year old than Russell averaged 13, 6.5 and 3.

Conley is slightly better than Russell is now. I have admitted he is better, but you guys are getting carried away.

Somebody ask Tony Jones. Conley at his salary or Russell at max plus keeping our assets. What does he say?

I'm joking about taking 90% of shots. What I'm getting at though is they're both inefficient players.

They are both are very young 22/23. Both have shown signs of being really good. Both of them can shoot. Both are better PGs and SGs than Simmons. Both need more help, which they can do for each other. Russell has improved every season with his efficiency and his load has grown every year. Both will make each other more efficient when they have less of a load and more spacing to help them out.

D'Lo/ Exum/ Allen
Mitchell/ Korver/ Allen
Ingles/ Royce
Crowder/cheap stretch 4 that are everywhere/Niang
Gobert/ cheap center that are everywhere

He probably will answer with nothing of substance.

Yep, plus its a pretty safe bet Conley will be worse next year and even worse the year after, where as Russell will improve each of those years and more. He is so young.

There are only 43 players in NBA history to score 21 points per game or more and shoot over 36% from 3 within their first 4 years in the NBA. Mitchell and Russell are 2 of them, both are much younger than most on the list.

I will be so happy if we get russell. he is close to mitchell too. go to nets kyrie

In the very unlikely event that the Lakers give up that much money for one year for Derrick Favors, I think Favors would take the long term guaranteed money over the very good likelihood he is shopped at the deadline once again.

Like I've said before, Favors could decide to stay or he could decide to go. Paying him $18 next season isn't wise. I want to keep him, but not for that. He has to decide how much he wants to stay at a place where he has said he wants to stay.
He’s statistically one of the best centers in the league. I’m sure he loves Utah enough to get messed around and lo called.
