Pretty amazing how the “best” coaches usually happen to have the best superstar players in their team.

I am so impressed with these Raptors, regardless of what happens. KD needs to come back to make this a truly special story. Talk about two sides of the coin... there is no flash with Toronto, there’s no trash talking - in fact I barely see them talking with each other. And any kind of celebration after victories?

What I like is that Leonard took control of this team in a silent way. And he learned from watching the great Tim Duncan. Man, playing for the Spurs gave him so much insight into how to be a leader without screaming and shouting.

This team is truly remarkable.

Kawhi should stay, everyone will likely be back next year. it would really be a black eye for the NBA if he left to join some super team forming in New York or LA.
 
Wondering about Durant, considering Klay & Looney playing injured. Sounds to me like Durant is already gone. I recall an interview with Green mentioning DeMarcus coming back but not a mention of Durant

Kawhi should re-sign on a 1 + PO. He looks good, could win a (nother?), Lowry and Gasol probably only got another year left, and then they have almost no salary committed the next offseason so they could hunt AD and maybe he just stays.

Anyway.

Maybe the Clips (with Kawhi) could hunt him. Shai, Shamet, Gallo and a 2020 1st.
 
I thought the cousins dunk/tip in should have counted.

And the refs should have given gasol some free throws there at the end.

Those two plays evened out I think
