Plan B?

Assuming we strike out on Tobias Harris, DLo, Conley trade, etc. What's the plan B? I'm all for still letting Favors walk. We've tried it. It's redundant with Gobert and doesn't give the Jazz enough shooting they need. There's still potentially a great list of FA's available that could be paired together and be considered a success.

What combination of these players should be the plan B that would actually make fans happy with the result?
(Also consider that Bird's rights on these guys in a few years could be huge if they improve because the Jazz may not have much cap space with Mitchell on a max deal and Gobert on a super max.)

- Patrick Beverly
- Nikola Mirotic
- Bojan Bogdonovic
- Danny Green
- Thaddeus Young
- Terrance Ross
- Jabari Parker
- Jeremy Lamb
- JaMychel Green
- Darren Collison
- Kentavious Caldwell Pope
- Reggie Bullock
- Bobby Portis (restricted)
- Terry Rozier (restricted)
- Kelly Oubre (restricted)
- Stanley Johnson (restricted)

Or is there really nothing here that works so we'd basically 100% bring back Favors and also try to swing some sort of trade involving our draft pick and cap space?

I don't think the Jazz are going to strike out, they'll sign someone and/or trade for a PG or Harris.

BUT... if I have to, I would get Mirotic, Bogdan and Beverley

You’ve missed the most obvious and most likely “plan B.”

Julius Randle
He is one of the guys on the Pels roster that is intriguing. Also there are Efrid Payton and Jalil Okafor the No 3 pick in the draft 4 years ago. All three put up decent numbers last season. I know each of them have warts but with several players moving on they could be adequate replacements.
