What's new

You're the GM this offseason. What do you do?

Everyone forgets the contribution Favs made a couple of years ago in the Clips playoff series when Rudy and Haywood went down. Without him we probably don't win that series.

Sometimes to win in the playoffs you need a bit of luck. Don't get salty man it's a fact.
Most rockets fans believe they would be two time champs had they not gone 0/27 last year (I’d bet this is a one in a million type event) and if they meet KD one round later than they did this year (literally one in a million chance based on seeding going into the final game of the year).

I'm not bragging I'm not even a raptors fan I was born in Toronto and live here. But it's not the raptors fault they got lucky or faced a weakened GSW team the game doesn't care how you win it just cares that you win.

According to Woj, the AD deal will be finalized on July 6th, NOT on July 30th. This means the Lakers will only have about 23M in capspace to deal with in free agency, rather than the 32M they could have if the deal is finalized at the end of July.

But they could have more if AD waives his $4 million trade kicker right? So potentially $27 million?

I would absolutely trade our 1st round pick to someone like Philly, Sacramento, Atlanta. etc for two 2nd round picks, or to someone for their 2nd round pick and an asset. I really like the depth in this draft and like our chances of landing a solid player with 3 2nd round picks more than just our 23rd pick. The contracts would also be non-guaranteed instead of a guaranteed deal.

I'm bored at work... My Top 10 Predictions for the NBA Off-season (no particular order):

Kemba Stays in Charlotte

Kyrie and Tobias go to Brooklyn

KD goes to NY

Klay Stays in Golden State

Kawhi Goes to Clippers

Conley Traded to Detroit (Reggie Jackson, Leuer & #15)

Butler Stays in Philly

Middleton, Lopez and Brogdon stay in Milwaukee

Love Stays in Cleveland

Russell goes to Utah, Indy or the Lakers

The Pellies are rumored to be trading the #4 pick for Lauri. That would be a good move for both teams. I wish we could trade for Lauri. But we dont really have an asset Chicago would want equal to #4 pick. We would still have room to chase Russell or whoever.

Windhorst today reporting that Kyrie is very likely to sign with Brooklyn. That means, D'Angelo is likely to be renounced to create space for another signing.

I think we are literally making the same point
