Conley Officially a Jazzman

it's not that I know more than you about basketball
I know you don't.

See I can take a single quote to reflect your entire position too. Boy you're the supreme internet tough guy. You got the playbook down.

DL gave up arm and leg. That's 3 draft picks basically plus a useful player. That's more than for Hill and Rubio combined. Conley better bring the bacon home for the Jazz.

1. Most other fans seem to think this is a fair deal. Perhaps some of you guys suffer from the endowment effect?
2. Conley is Quin's favorite PG in the league. His contract is synced with Gobert and Mitchell's contracts.
3. All Utah Jazz starters are top-50 players. Conley is a defensive beast. Utah should be #1 defensively again.
4. HOU has major issues. GSW will likely miss the playoffs. So finally Utah has a chance to win the West. This is a golden opportunity they've patiently waited for. I actually think that's the main reason behind this trade.

Love this trade. Conley is a perfect fit for the Jazz in the way he plays and his professionalism. He'll take pressure off Donovan, which the Jazz desperately needed and I believe he is extremely underrated. He's been playing on a bad Memphis team for years now and hasn't had the opportunity to play with a player like Donovan and a talented team like the Jazz in a long time. Yes, we will need a couple more role players to add depth, especially a SF/PF, but I definitely think that's possible through free agency.

Conley is not a defensive beast. PG is probably the least defensive impact position. He's not a liability but not much else. His DRPM is middle of the pack the last 3 seasons.

Crowder brought so much more than shooting. He brought toughness that no other Jazz player had. Utah need to find a personality to replace that, someone who isn't afraid to get in the face of opponents or teammates. I wanted him as a member of the Jazz when he was in college. He is a total team and hard hat kind of guy. I am very sorry to see Utah's enforcer go.

I think JaMychal Green could bring that
