Yes.Who? Harris compared to Niko?

Yes.
I think that’s the question, though, is how much replacement could Niko provide on offense of what Harris gives you when, for arguments sake, we say the defense is a wash? Harris costs $30+. Niko maybe less than half that. Can he give you 80% of the offense? I believe he can. I think the rest is diminishing returns. Just like I think focusing on defense at the cost of offense has significantly diminishing returns when you reach a certain point.I dont know. They are probably close but Tobias is a much better more diverse offensive player. I think Harris puts more effort in on defense and doesnt take plays off but Mirotic has better tools to defend.
There are tons. This is the most there have ever been in an off season. Yes, we cant offer much but a bunch of those guys are not getting paid that much. They go undervalued a lot. I listed a few that will go for cheap but there are many more. There are 48 players listed as PF that are FAs this year that played in the NBA last year. That is not including SF/PF and PF/C players.
Favors can land us a solid player due to his salary alone plus the fact that he is a solid player. It would take other guys as well but the fact that he is a large expiring deal he would be very helpful in landing a disgruntled player that is demanding a trade or a team that is changing course and trying to tank.
I dont like that we are debating Favors, Niko and Mike Scott. The window is right now. I wish we had higher aspirations.
We should be talking Tobias and Randle until those options are no longer in play. Those two have us as contenders.

The money is indifferent though. We are at our cap with Niko at 15+ million. So its not like we can get another player besides for maybe a couple million but that isnt going to make much of a different. Having a player for 30 also doesnt prevent us from re-signing our own players. I think having the better player gives us a much better chance of winning especially in the playoffs.I think that’s the question, though, is how much replacement could Niko provide on offense of what Harris gives you when, for arguments sake, we say the defense is a wash? The point is that Niko is attainable but Harris really isn’t. If we’re willing to consider Harris, are we not willing to ask the question on Niko, given that he’s actually attainable? The money is indifferent though. We are at our cap with Niko at 15+ million. We should push for Tobias until he is not an option. We should prioritize Randle over all other options.Randle??? we don't need the creation... we don't need him now.
Harris??? Jeebus we have done this a thousand times... he ain't taking the paycut it'd take. May as well say we should go for KD.
Lol, I thought that last one was a deliberate error you made just to poke fun at the situation.Damn, I screwed it up again. Recency bias. Got it right that time.
We need a PF. If we keep Favors we still have Ingles and Royce as our primary 3s. We could use a SG as well or a SG/SF.Go ahead and list the ones that will go for cheap and let's see if they get more than 4.8M. We need a SF/PF not a PF/C if we keep Favs... so use that when you are making your list.
