Jazz are emerging as serious threats to sign Bojan Bogdanovic

I know Bogdanovic doesn't have the greatest defensive reputation. But I like we know he can be part of a great defense, and I really think he's very switchable down (much more than someone like Portis, Mirotic, or JaMychael Green) -- can function a lot like Jae defensively, though without as much toughness.

This would be a great signing. Our window is right now and Bojan could be the best $18-$20 million type player on the market.

Conley, Donovan, Ingles, O'Neale, Bojan and Gobert. There isn't a better 6 man lineup in the NBA.

We'd be a bit thin for a true 4, but given this league is positionless and we might see some improvement from Niang? That's promising.

Who is a good Pacers insider on twitter? I'd like to see what they are talking about

Been hitting to the feeds and trying to find something on the Pacers. Either they're not worried or there simply isn't anyone to report chatter. The Pacers fan general sentiment is "Back. Off."

I don't know about bringing Joe off the bench necessarily but if Exum can come back and stay healthy, get some form back and run the bench unit like he was December last year... a bench unit consisting of something like Exum/Royce/Ingles/Bojan/backup 5 or Gobert could absolutely destroy opposing bench units with Exum collapsing defenses to three great 3pt shooters, or getting it to the roll guy on the PnR.

edit: Plus because of Exum's size if he's having a good game Quin is no longer stuck with trying to run Rubio/Exum dog crap lineups and can instead play Conley/Mitchell/Exum lineups in place of Joe against small ball teams which is even more exciting. If Exum's playing like dog crap which he will for the first couple of months of the season coming off injury as is tradition at this point, you can potentially still have Neto running that bench unit with Joe taking more playmaking responsibilities

Lol

People still think Exum is going to contribute?

Bless your heart

I’m all for signing Bago.

But I wouldn’t look to play him significantly at the 4.

Royce and Niang aren’t the answers either. Especially Royce, who is too small and his best attribute is defending the wing.

Bradley is too slow to be an nba player.

Well need to add another piece. I saw earlier Ed Davis. That’d probably do it.

I can agree with that. Depending on matchups, we still could get bullied at the four. Davis might be a good guy to slot in those cases where needed.

Here's the thing. If the Jazz grab Bogie at the right deal, Favors would be the cap casualty regardless. But we may not have to lose Neto in such a case.
Keeping Neto is preferred, but I'd waive him if we needed to in order to get Bojan. Hopefully he stays though. JWF won't be ready until next year.
