What's new

I can't believe...

Just listen to Tony Jones.

He's been money on pretty much everything. If he says that Utah isn't looking to move Exum, then they probably aren't. Pretty damn simple. I'll trust the FO, myself. They've done a good job so far.

Of course they won't move him because they can't. I assure you that they tried and Zanik probably rubs it in DL's dumbass the whole time for extending that scrub bust

I wasn't making an argument against Exum, I'm pro Dante. The front office and coaches clearly see something we don't. We watch games every other night, they're seeing these guys every day.

That doesn’t mean they’re right. Trey Burke, Lyles, Kanter, Bradley, Burks, all say “hi.”

Exactly.

Why so serious? Nothing wrong with irrationally liking or disliking a player (excusing obvious stuff like racism). This is just entertainment and if we all have to start being reasonable/logical then I might as well do something worthwhile, like work with the homeless. Let everyone be a fanatic in what ever way they want because none of this is real life so who cares!

If nobody is willing to absorb him for two second rounders, then that should be a huge wake-up call for us.
I'm not sure how many teams have the necessary space, to be honest, but that's an entirely moot point as long as the Jazz are not looking to dump him for two 2nds. It's 100% impossible to tell if dumping him for a couple of picks would be difficult/impossible or not.

1. The FO has been complacent for years.
2. The FO needed to get off their more aggressive. Maybe getting our heads kicked in by Houston again helped convince our FO that the status quo wasn’t cutting it.
3. A little bit of hard work would make great improvements.?

I disagree that the front office has been complacent. We have been hearing for the last couple of years that they have been trying to make a big move to get a better point guard. Just because they had been unable until now to make that move does not mean that they haven't been trying to get the right player in the right package.

They have not been more aggressive this year. They simply needed that big move to happen. Everything since the Conley signing has been a domino effect. Sure, they could have "blown up" the team before, but without that crucial piece, it would not have made the team better.

It's foolish to think that all of the sudden the FO is having a great offseason. Everything happening now is the result of years of planning.

You're right.

24 year olds who can guard 1-3 very well have absolutely no value in the NBA. Dude is worthless. Thanks for enlightening me.

If Exum didn't play point guard, he would likely be gone already. The position is key to what the Jazz try to do and has proven very difficult to find consistency. The FO wants to give him every opportunity to turn into the player that they think he can be. The upside is huge if he can turn that corner. That being said, he is likely running out of chances at this point.
