This is why I'll never miss Grayson Allen

Will never be respected by refs, and can never be counted on in key moments.

Ejected after 2 flagrants, tech.

I hated the pick. Tried to talk myself into it after they took him. Can’t say I’m going to miss him at all. Still would’ve either traded up for Heuter or stayed put and drafted Simons. Those were the two guys that I thought would be within reach.

Allen is going to get wrecked at some point. The play by play guys mentioned that you can’t be sneaky if you want to do that. Go toe to toe and I’ll respect it.

In his defense, the 1st wasn't a flagrant. It was just a foul. He shoved through a screen. Happens all the time. Would the 2nd have been called on a star? I don't think so. The wind up looked bad, but he didn't even hit him that hard.

I think his facial expressions and lack of humility hurt him constantly. He just comes across as a prick.

The way it happened in sequence like that has to make you wonder about his ability to put things behind him and move on. He messes up once and starts to dig and dig... first he bricks two free throws and "fights through a screen" and then hits the dude in the head. Maybe it was just bad luck, but he doesn't seem to be able to focus his frustration into productive energy, its always negative.

I agree that he comes across as a prick, but I do think his gesticulations and arm swings would qualify both of those fouls as flagrant for most players and most refs regardless of star status. The second one in particular -- though he didn't make much contact -- could have done some damage if his aim was better. The dude has zero self-control and seems to have a major case of victim mentality.

Would spellman be that stretch 4/5 we so desperately need right now? Oops.

Lyles, Burke, Bradley, Exum, Kanter, Allen... the list goes on and on and on

He is a stretch mark big right now... he looks big in summer league... there was a reason he was traded for peanuts.

I wonder what Grayson's attitude was like in his for year with the Jazz. Wonder if was entitled and overall just piss poor? Man what a let down that'd be for DL and Snyder. Also that defense was not gonna improve.

That was chicken ****. I disagree with the thought the first wasn't flagrant, he got legally screened and turned around and shoved Williams right in the face.

WTF is wrong with that guy. Grizz need to lay the hammer down, he's gotten a number of second, third, fourth chances at this point.

Love this.

Jazz literally traded him LAST WEEK and Jazzfanz are all like - WTF? Memphis needs to put a leash on that guy. . .

The first foul Williams bear-hugged him and wrapped with his left arm and Grayson moved quickly to get out of it. Williams should have gotten a foul too.

The second was payback and flagrant.

The real crime was those horrid free throws.

Oh please. If you can find a post of me gushing over Grayson or defending that nonsense, then you can call me a hypocrite (hint: you won't). That kind of crap is unacceptable whether he's a Jazzman or not.

Sorry. Didn’t mean to make it seem like I was trying to single you out. It was just the wording of your post that made me laugh.

I’m not saying that you ever gushed over him. I’m certain there’s more than a few Jazz fans who want to pretend that he never had a one year stop in SLC. Especially with him acting like a bitch so soon after being traded.

I dislike Allen and his antics, but come on. The first play, we was held and overreacted with a push off. It should be a foul. The second play looks like he blocks the ball then gets contact. You're going to kick a guy out of a game based on his reputation rather than him making a play on the ball. You can tell the announcers hate Duke and Allen. Lol

The kid is obnoxious though. Something about his Ted Cruz whine face triggers people, including myself.
