It's certainly valid and justifiable imo, as long as your goal is not to actually unseat Trump.Sure it is.

Pretty sure we've had this discussion before, but voting AT ALL is throwing your vote away. The chance of any one person's vote affecting the presidential election is statistically impossible.Voting indep is throwing you vote away...
Completely false dichotomy there. Literally nothing I do will make the difference between Trump winning or losing.@Jazzta
And others who are thinking about voting indep.
Along with hypotheticals, would you prefer to vote for a candidate like Warren or Harris who might be a little more liberal than you’re used to and get trump out? Or would you really prefer “political purity” and vote indep and give trump another 4 years to embarrass us globally and race bait black communities daily?

In Baltimore County, former Del. Johnny Olszewski Jr. has been declared the Democratic nominee for county executive — pending the recount requested by state Sen. Jim Brochin whom he bested by nine — count them, nine — votes in a contest where more than 84,000 votes were cast.
In Montgomery County, the Democratic county executive primary was decided in similar squeaker fashion with Councilman Marc Elrich besting businessman David Blair by 80 votes, which is roughly 0.06 percent of the 129,337 votes recorded.
the final tally in the District 1 Democratic primary had Councilman Jon Weinstein with 3,171 votes and challenger Elizabeth “Liz” Walsh with 3,173.
SALT LAKE CITY — It's Congressman-elect Ben McAdams after election results were certified Tuesday.
The Democratic Salt Lake County mayor's lead over Republican Rep. Mia Love was at 694 votes following the final vote canvass throughout the 4th Congressional District, just 21 votes beyond the margin that would have allowed Love to ask for a recount.
McAdams ended up with 134,964 votes to Love's 134,270, winning the Nov. 6 election with 50.13 percent of the vote to 49.87 percent for the two-term congresswoman.
Yes. If you don’t want trump, vote democrat. A third party candidate has zero chance of winning 270 electoral college votes. I’m sorry that the truth hurts.
Want the GOP to reform itself and return to being a Conservative party and not just the party of white nationalists? Vote for democrats.
You might not like it, but it’s the truth.
I’m not sure why this is such a hot take. Seems pretty obvious to me.

Fwiw, there are some Democratic candidates I would likely vote for, others I would not. If one of the ones too removed from my views wins the nomination, I will be voting third party again.
The report — the product of 2,600 interviews with voters, experts, party officials and business leaders, as well as a poll of Hispanic Republicans and an online survey of 36,000 stakeholders — was remarkable for its blunt criticism of Republican politics. The party, the report’s five authors argued, had become the realm of "stuffy old men" and spent too much time "talking to itself" rather than engaging new voters. Backing immigration reform, the authors concluded, would be necessary to shed that image. "If we do not, our Party’s appeal will continue to shrink to its core constituencies only," the authors wrote.
“Thriller, are you really advocating for voters to vote against even “moderate” republicans? Remind us why we should do that. You sound so extreme and radical. Why do you advocate for punishing all members of the Republican Party? You’re so librule!
Remind us Thrill why we should do that!”
While I will defend your right to your religious beliefs, I have to say you're one of the most ignorant posters ever on Jazzfanz. You're right up there with Dutch, just not as hostile. The only people who approve of Trump have zero moral conscience and if they do have a religion should be excommunicated or whatever it is that their religion calls removing them from membership.LOL Yep that is why President Trump has a higher approval rating at this time in his presidency than Obama did. Yep that is why despite 90% negative coverage from the mainstream media his approval rating is climbing. If it was not for indoctrinated college students, Trump wins more bigly. Did you the article on women not voting for Trump at Yahoo today? Go read the comments after the article Thriller. I am sure you won't be Thrilled with how women are feeling about Trump.

Everything you quoted PROVES MY POINT. Unless there is a 1 vote margin of victory, your vote and mine ARE MEANINGLESS. There is no possible way you can argue otherwise. It's not "garbage", it's simple arithmetic. Like literally, first grade math. That's not to say we shouldn't vote, but don't fool yourself, you voting for the winning candidate most certainly DID NOT MAKE THAT HAPPEN.I remember hearing this garbage 3 years ago. It was false then and it still is now.
* Remind me again the vote margin between Hillary Clinton and Donald trump in just 3 Great Lakes area states? I remember reading not too long ago, that many of those voters would’ve voted for Clinton but due to the very attitude that Colton is displaying, didn’t vote. Oops.
* Maybe colton missed this:

“But Thrill! Those are all from the east. Utah is different. My vote in utah is worthless!”
https://www.deseretnews.com/article...-for-mcadams-in-final-vote-certification.html
Every vote matters. Even if in utah it’s a blowout for the presidential election, I’ll take great joy in voting AGAINST trump and doing my best to help the Democratic nominee win.
* Side-note: Mitt Romney has the lowest approval rating of all of Utah’s delegation while McAdams has the highest. Its worth arguing that Utahns might be harsher on Romney, who initially showed resistance to trump in a dignified way, but has since caved to become another trump bootlicker.
I literally never look at anything he posts lol.I'm almost impressed with Heathme's commitment to bombarding every thread with garbage links while getting absolutely no engagement.
