The official "let's impeach Trump" thread

This is a tweet she sent out before the 2016 election, right?

No wait... she's doing it again?

She ought to just rerun her content from several years ago and take a vacation from screeching.

Is the content she’s repeating factually wrong?

Maybe... Can you provide proof that these numbers are factually correct? It's a poll of approximately 250,000 people. I think it's pretty safe to say that it's wrong in one way or the other when 130+ million people vote in elections. I know this is about "being under water" and not votes but a little over 250,000 votes tells only a very very very very minute side of the story. It's fluff imo. I would expect her to do better.

That's not how it works. The tweet isn't predicting anything. It's just saying the results of a poll. So the tweet could be 100% right about the poll results and still wrong about the future actual election.

She's saying "Trump underwater in"

250,000 people doesn't tell the whole story, not even a fraction. Where do these 250,000 votes come from? You actually have to register to the website to vote in that poll. You really think that's accurate?

Edit- it's actually closer to 270,000 but that changes nothing.

On average that would be about 5400 people polled per state. That is in no way a fair representation. For all we know only 12 people were polled in Utah.

The poll is showing how the people who took the poll felt or at least what they are saying they felt (since they could also be lying)
That's it.
I think you are making too big of a deal about it for some reason

Did the poll say it was a fair representation? Is the poll saying that it represents every voter in America?

Meh I think she's being disingenuous.

I think you are dude. She forwarded the poll results that she thought were interesting and cited the link. According to the poll, Trump was underwater in those states at the time. Were they not? Did she misrepresent the poll results in some way? Did she obfuscate where the poll comes from? Does the poll itself not publish the uncertainty range? Is 270,000 not a large enough sample size to reasonably represent the population? It actually is. Please go learn some math. Maybe the survey questions were biased? No?

The poll was given online which means the sample was self-selected. This may introduce bias since usually the passionate are compelled to respond. This is an argument you could have made if you knew how to make it.

Poll results are poll results, that's all that they are bro. Why are you punching at shadows?

I think you could do a jazzfanz poll and the significance is exactly the same.
