That's not a fair assumption. But you are right on one point, I don't want anything to do with the current crop of Democrats and their socialist agenda.

I personally would entertain the idea of another business man type, regardless of political leanings if the policy proposals were good.

To me it’s not about policy this election. It’s about character and trump is poison to what I want us to be. There are multiple policies on the Ds I oppose. I’d vote for any D that gets the nomination over Trump.

For once, character and morality completely trump policy for me. (Yes, it was intentional)

I can respect that even if I don't necessarily agree with your reasoning.

To me there’s just a point where you say “no more”. And for me we’ve past that point. Somewhere there has to be a line of what you’ll push back on. On what you’ll refute and fight against. Trump is beyond that for me. And this is the first presidential election that’s ever gotten there for me.

Well, like I said, I definitely respect your thought process on it. I have a different view on things but I won't argue what is driving your decisions.

The assumption part was when you stated that "they don't understand or care".

I assumed you were speaking to what you consider Trump to be so that was what that initial response was to.

But yes, I don't want anything to do with any of the craziness that is the current leftist agenda with the Democrats. I make no bones about it.

If you did truly understand and care then you wouldn't vote for Trump.

Funny thing about US elections, is you can vote for whomever you want. Forcing the belief that you have to vote A in fear of B is a cultural impulse pushed by existing parties. It is not an imperative, and we should not act like it is.
