why not; ashamed to be a member of the human race? Take it up another level, Like Kirk Douglas in Paths of Glory. That would take Trump off the hook if you said it that way tho, which is the last thing u wanna do. LOL. sounds personal to me.


PPL take things too territoriality I think, it's really an incredible way to pick up on ******** if you listen to it... lies and ******** follow territorial labels at an incredible rate, I've been key'ed in on it for years and it continues to ring true..


You say american because it fits your ideals/'argument' better, no? There's injustices everywhere, is this particular injustice exclusive to america? no, but here's the only place u give a **** about it. because it 'affects' you. LOL. more sad at this because it hits closer to home, right? Thats the way this exercise works? Like some guilty by association thing? Doesnt seem very smart to me. Actually sounds rather sanctimonious tbh, this seems more like an inconvenience to me, than an injustice, for the record.

The funniest part to me about whiney old people talking politics is y'all were around for Vietnam. right? HOW COULD YOU BE SHOCKED ABOUT ANYTHING AFTER THAT?? i swear as a 31 year old it feels like vietnam went over lotta these older peoples heads..


did vietnam not demonstrate to people who followed closely, that humans arent ****, and they'll use every excuse in the book to justifytruly wicked behavior?

I see a pitiful sight, buncha americans on the edge of their seats hoping some old-*** candidate/puppet with a popsicle stick up his is gonna be that change...


their so staunchly invested in this hope for change, here they are in 2019 frothed up like its actually an election year.

Agreed. The best comment I read in that thread was, “It’s almost like America is being run by Nazis.”

When you give people like Stephen Miller this type of power and influence, don’t act surprised when our government does intolerant and cruel things.

Conservatives are bailing on Johnson. Yet our conservatives seem hell bent on supporting their boy still. I wonder if mitt Romney has put out a statement about this yet? I’m sure Susan Collins will be disappointed.

I don't know what the heck you are talking about.

It's a sad day for me to be an American because it's MY government that is altering its visa policy specifically so it can turn away people affected by the hurricane in the Bahamas. Instead of trying to help, as generally used to be the case.

Agreed. I have no idea what that other post was about.

I want to help those in the Bahamas and will probably donate some money to help. I wouldn’t be surprised to see if local religions and groups pitched in too. I don’t support my government changing its policy for no good reason like this.

I think any person with an ounce of humanity should understand why and be angry at the government for doing this. Sadly, I’m learning everyday that there are people in my country who don’t seem to value human life.

I wish Pelosi and the gang wouldn’t be so loud and obnoxious about impeachment talk. Jeez. The president can hardly get any word in these days due to democrats dominating the news and informing us all 100 times that they hate trump with all of this impeachment talk...
 
Have any of you read the book “Our Better Angels” by Steven Pinker? It’s a fantastic read. He talks about how humans have become remarkably more moral and less violent over the past 400 years. Especially in the past 100 with so many reforms that have benefitted women, minorities, captured soldiers, etc. he refers to it as a type of revolution.

Sadly, it appears that many in trumpworld have missed this humanistic revolution. They seem like they’d be fine living 200 years ago enslaving different races. Or living 500 years ago when people were tortured for the almost inane reasons.

I hope our next president is a better human being than the current one. Shouldn’t be too hard. But why is the party of pro life so silent? Fixing our deadbeat congress is going to take years.
 
More heartbreaking interviews. Guess trump finally found something to distract us from the Air Force, Taliban, and hurricane debacles. And then by Wednesday he’ll be doing something even more cruel and/or corrupt.

I'd like to see more of this @The Thriller and less of the go-team-go Thriller. Nice post.
