Headband Ban To End

I've never been so orgasmically excited about any news story ever!!! EVER I ****ing tell you... EVER!!!!

Wait, what was this all about?

Sloan was an overrated crochidy old man who told kids to get off of his lawn. He cost the Jazz so many games by yelling at the refs and NEVER calling timeouts when the other team would go on a run. It's about time that they got rid of that ridiculous unwritten rule that made no sense.

He was a good coach in the league, but I wouldnt call him a great coach

His peers knew that he was good but not great, that's why he never won coach of the year. Other coaches didnt like him

I think that players didnt want to play here with John and Karl because they didnt want to play for Sloan more than not wanting to play in Utah

Bull. COTY is voted by media members, not his peers. His peers did vote him COTY (Sporting News) in 03/04 after Stockton and Malone left and it was AK and scrubs that almost got to the playoffs. Otherwise, Sloan was always perceived as having two all-times on his team up until they retired/left. But he was respected enough to get into the HoF as a coach his first crack out. That is something

Beyond that, Utah suffered from the small-market stigma for the longest time. Not sure if you know this, but it's not common for small markets in the NBA to land marquee players.
