What's new

2020 Presidential election

It's laughable that someone called me a moron for plainly calling out that it will not cost $0 to have a baby. People actually believe this ****. The lack of economical common sense is unfathomable but this is jazzfanz.
Nobody actually believes that Bernie's plan will magically erase all costs having to do with childbirth.

But under M4A, the day you walk out of the hospital with your baby you'll not be any worse off financially than when you walked in. That's the point he's making. This isn't hard to understand.

It’s hard when you cling like a hater-moran to a tweet, doe.

I’m going to apply a lesson that took me too long to learn: JazzyFresh is going on ignore (I encourage all to do the same), and I’m taking a break from this place. Ciao.

Then why didn't Naos say no? He believes it.

Ok but you're still paying for it, right? By paying 30-50% of your income to tax s. It is not $0. It's not rocket science. You are still being billed for it on disguise of taxes.

Definitely not 30-50% of my income lol. But yes, as I said earlier obviously a single payer healthcare plan doesn't magic free healthcare into existence.

You already pay 20+% where are these trillion upon trillions coming from? Show me other countries that have "free" healthcare that aren't taxed in that bracket.

Why don't you just look at Bernie's Proposal? The savings in administrative costs and actual negotiation with pharmaceutical companies will make healthcare less expensive, not more.

Anyway I thought you meant we'd be paying 30%-50% in taxes solely for health care, is that not what you meant?

In any case the countries you mentioned with "free" healthcare also have things like tuition free college, wider safety net, guaranteed paid family leave, and weeks of paid vacation, etc.

It's been a joke on jazzfanz for like 10 years. NAOS nows how to spell it.

And there's this little thing called "out of pocket" which is different from total cost. The term is most commonly used in regard to insurance.

Where did the tweet say out of pocket?! It said you'd be paying "an average of $0".

Also how is paying taxes not "out of pocket"?

It's a short tweet dude, it's not meant to be a total breakdown of his healthcare proposal.

I don't know how many times this has to be pointed out to you before you'll stop pretending to be so obtuse.

Also taxes are not considered"out of pocket" in the same way that healthcare premiums currently aren't.

How much do you pay if your house catches on fire and you call the fire department?

Should I repeat this stupid *** question 50 times until you give me the answer I want?

You're going on ignore. Have a nice life.

I think it's an empty promise to get people to vote for him. No different than "Mexico will pay for the wall".

There's is absolutely no truth to that tweet. None. It will not cost $0 to have a baby. How am I being obtuse for pointing out the obvious? You will not be "paying $0 to have a child". You won't.

I pay 22% of my wages in taxes. I'm paying for the fire department to come by means of taxation. I'm not paying $0.

Duh dude.

You will be paying $0 more to have a child than you would if you didn't under his plan. Just like you pay $0 more if the fire dept puts out a house fire than you would if they didn't.

You're being a dingus. Stop it.
