Convince Me

How did that post make me a snowflake or do you normally just echo buzzwords?

I don't think that post called you a snowflake. I think it called Joe Rogan a snowflake, and observed he still has a successful podcast. One might infer that the post also accuses that said successful podcast caters to snowflakes. Taking it a step further, were his podcast not successful maybe we could use MORE snowflakes.

You may have PTSD.

Ultimately, the core of Trump voters feel like there is literally no difference to how Trump is being treated now, and how Mitt Romney would have been treated had he won the election. They feel like there has never been a payoff or advantage in "playing by the rules."

The left perfected "Alinskyism" over the past few decades. Personally, I hate everything about it. I'm not going to feel bad, however, when the people who perfected it, get it returned to them good and hard. It's a failing in me, I suppose.

An entire thread dedicated to one poster?

Neat. Glad you're not obsessed or anything.

And, wait, you know that @The Thriller has you blocked? Seriously, dude, this is next level creepy.

To be fair, Thriller loves talking about how he's blocked people. I think, if you've read the right threads, you basically know who Thriller's blocked, and maybe even when.

I agree and also your post elicited a big MEH from me as well. Obama was routinely crucified by fox news for dumb **** too. The left has no monopoly on this. The fact that this go-around is warranted is what has changed. Unfortunately, I do think an element of "the boy who cried wolf" has numbed what should be a loud denouncement of this presidency from both sides. I also don't think that works, in any way, as a defense for not heavily criticizing Donald Trump.

The right frisked Clinton and Obama blindly for **** constantly. It's a national past time to **** all over the "opposite" color. Believe it or not, we've been to war with ourselves. The Microscope is just more available now.

"They started it" is the original non starter.

This is myopic. Trump isn't the "disease." Trump himself is a symptom of something much larger, and it isn't the rebirth of the KKK. Also, yes, a lot of the left thought GW Bush was Hitler too.
Did Bush day grab em by the *****? Call a whole country rapists? Get a weather forecast wrong and then have sharpiegate and never let it go? Make fun of handicapped? Tweet all day erry day?
You are kidding yourself if you don't think Trump has increased the amount of division and extremism a ton.

I wouldn't even be posting in political threads if trump wasn't president. So right there alone is a difference.

Would there still be division and extremism? Sure. Nearly the same amount? Hell no. Another president simply wouldn't provide the account of material that Trump does. It's simply not possible to put out so much material to discuss that Trump does.

You think Romney would provide the same amount of material to criticize and discuss that Trump does? Lolz

I voted for Romney for the Senate. I love Romney and wish he were the president.

Romney is samesies as trump. What a stupid thing for the core of trump voters to believe.

Obama wasn't criticized nearly as much as trump. How could he be? He didn't provide nearly as much material to criticize as trump does.

Obama was criticized a ton and every president will be criticized a ton too. It's part of the job.

Trump is an anomaly. He is a disease. I believe he says and does things because he wants to be criticized. He is a troll. Worst of the worst.
Get rid of him and the vitriol and division will go back to normal levels.

I agree, I'm just saying that disingenuous folks like Framer look at the massive amount of completely valid and necessary criticism of this president and say "Hey, but people were mad that George W. Bush mispronounced easy words and got some flack for golfing a bunch" or some ****. It's completely stupid. However, this kind of thinking is clearly prevalent. The majority of this could and should be blamed on the intelligence of the person who has those thoughts among other things, and part of the blame goes to the sensationalist nonsense our media has been peddling in since, ostensibly, forever.

Trump stands out from every other president in history in a bad way. And in so many ways.
To act like every one would be acting the exact same with a different president in office (framer) is insane.

The "right" nominated John McCain and Mitt freaking Romney and the left, and the press, treated them like Hannibal Lecter. DO you remember Joe Biden telling black parishioners that Mitt Romney was going to "put them back in chains?" Mitt Romney? Remember when he gave one of his employees cancer? These weren't "back benchers" this was the Vice President and the New York Times. Also remember Brother Harry Reid telling everyone and the press letting it go un "fact-checked" that Mitt Romney never paid taxes?

Trump came from somewhere, and the moron excuse is "white nationalism."

Dude, get out. You're derailing the thread. We're supposed to be arguing about whether Thriller hates you or not.

Yes, people said dumb **** all the time. You're free to ignore the dumb **** if it is dumb ****. I'd encourage you also to use your free will to respond to warranted criticism as well.

Lets get back to the Thriller show please. Thanks!

Biden used that phrase in an extended metaphor about Romney unshackling Wall Street with financial deregulation. He wasn't saying Romney was literally going to bring back slavery lol.

If you think it wasn't calculated for the double meaning you are either highly indoctrinated or naive. Most sound-bites are for the lowest common denominator of voters. You really think most voters caught that nuance when the obvious double-meaning was so heavy-handed?

Did you miss how fox news treated Hillary Clinton? Or EVERYONE CONSIDERING running or siding with democrats?

White Nationalism IS where Donald Trump started. Or perhaps you missed his family heritage while reading about Pizzagate?
