He just got back and was surprised it got this cold this early, probably meaning that he usually doesn't come back to Utah this early before training camp and didnt know.

You guys are reading waaaaay too much into this. The dude is from New York, he's experienced cold weather before.

A week or so ago we were hitting 90s every day. We got a little cold snap and it was around 60 one day, 80 something the next, then 60 or so again. When he got here it was definitely colder than usual, but man, I'd never describe 60f as freezing. I love me some mid50s to mid60s. Those temps are my jam.
