K, it’s not normal for any 6th year NBA player to play in the G-League for any reason. It’s not. It says everything about where he’s at physically, mentally, and skills-wise.

I hid a clue as to what the reason is above.

He won’t be playing in the G league at all. Just getting practice reps in. What part of that don’t you get?

Look at combine numbers if your eyes are deceiving you. He can barely elevate, always gasping for air and grabbing his shorts during breaks and hits the deck every single time he drives and gets slightest body contact. He has quick first step and decent lateral quickness - that's what we paying him 49 mil so far for.

No offense but that's anecdotal (highly exaggerated I might add) evidence and definitely not empirical. So you're saying that the guy can't dunk, has no stamina and sells the foul really well? Hitting the floor after taking body contact on a drive seems like a positive in the NBA to me, so forget that one. No question that he's a mouth breather (some folks are), but I've not seen it affect his stamina. Barely elevate and you've implied that he's weak:

So what your saying Dwayne Wade and Russell Westbrook aren't great athletes. Cause they all pretty much had the same combine numbers for vertical. Just shut up. You're making yourself look more and more stupid lol lol

yes, his vertical sucks ( Earl Watson for example had 2 inches better no step vertical, I am not even talking about Donovan who's max vertical is 6 inches better than Exums). He has long arms and to block Marjanovic who has 2 inch vertical is nothing special.

LMAO. It's positive if you can finish through contact and stay on your feet. Hitting the floor every time will get you injured a lot - not that Exum did not experience that first hand.

LOL, I do not hate Exum as a player or person, how many times I need to repeat that. I hate where he was picked though and how overrated he was before the draft, that's it. Had he been picked outside of lottery (where he belonged IMHO) nobody would be pissed at Jazz spending so much time, effort and money on him.
But I wish him well and hopefully one day he can become decent rotational player ( very little hope for that though).

Some corrections - he has poor stamina, not no stamina. He can definitely dunk, just his vertical is below average. Being 6'6 with decent wingspan you do not need great explosiveness to dunk. I am barely 6 FT and in my best days I could dunk with one hand. And the point about hitting floor after contact was not about selling fouls - it was about him being physically weak and uncoordinated to absorb contact and finish through it.
