The official "let's impeach Trump" thread

Hit the nail on the head. My bet is Colton thinks he's also so far gone he's beyond hope of Colton's repair.

Turkey describes many of the never trumpers here. I'm genuinely surprised some of you are so partisan and biased that have become comfortable with and accept suspending rule of law in exchange for getting what you've been calling for ever since Trump won the primaries.

I watched for 4:20 until he said "not compelling evidence of the commission of a crime". I stopped there because he is clearly not very well educated on the evidence. Imho.

@colton How would you have responded to this question if you had been called to testify? I’ve never seen professors treated like this. I’m referring to the bottom tweet, where the rep questions these academics on how they voted.

I would have cried "shame on you!" like the woman did, or attempted to do.

I'm not partisan

I think what you mean is you dont believe you are a party wonk. You are, however, the cheerleader of the partisans. You've been boasting your prejudice for months on end, telling us ad nauseum how you hate Trump and think he's a terrible person. You've hardly said anything else. I thought you were holding that up as some badge of honor?

I realize, being a Trumpite, that you don't understand the power of acknowledging error and apologizing. Don't worry, no one expects more of you.

Here is Trump apologizing for his remarks about grabbing *****. Please refrain from bringing it up again in your continued bashing of our president. He has apologized and is forgiven. You can no longer hold this against him. Thank you for staying consistent in your morals and standards.

"I’ve never said I’m a perfect person, nor pretended to be someone that I’m not. I’ve said and done things I regret, and the words released today on this more-than-a-decade-old video are one of them.

Anyone who knows me knows these words don’t reflect who I am. I said it, I was wrong, and I apologize. I’ve traveled the country talking about change for America, but my travels have also changed me. I’ve spent time with grieving mothers who’ve lost their children, laid-off workers whose jobs have gone to other countries, and people from all walks of life who just want a better future. I have gotten to know the great people of our country, and I’ve been humbled by the faith they’ve placed in me. I pledge to be a better man tomorrow and will never, ever let you down."

I know, right? Even the dude who wore black face thinks you're a ****ing joke! Usually Trump has racists in the bag! What a loser!

Or you could look at it like, hey the racists are against Trump. Maybe Trump isnt who we think he is. You know logic and stuff.

You mean all the testimonies of people's beliefs? There is no evidence of quid pro quo, only opinion of what so and so believed was going on. But nobody is going to convince you otherwise.

Evidence and fact matters in a judicial trial, which if you had listened is what this guy was speaking in regards to. This is a political trial and all the evidence presented is just that, political and baseless.

That's the great part about this strategy from Trump and the GOP. Complain that we don't have all the facts to impeach while stonewalling every congressional effort to gain access to those facts.

Well ya, I hate Trump. And yes he is a horrible person. Of that there's no debate.
Being partisan means following a party. Hope that clears it up for you. Thought you were smarter than that to be honest. Not the first time I have been wrong though. Oh well.

There is tremendous evidence of a quid pro quo. But there doesn't even need to be. Simply ASKING for a foreign government to help a campaign is against the law, even if there isn't a quid pro quo attached. There is also evidence of obstruction of justice and obstruction of Congress. And abuse of power. Etc.
