Game 28: The Jazz visit Atlanta December 19, 2019 5:30pm mtn

David Locke was a bit coy about this in regards to Dante. Said he can't say what it is, but something isn't quite right with him in practice, but once you see him on the floor you'll know he fixed it. Tony Jones said Dante is currently in Miye Oni's group in practice...
He probably does 1 turnover in practice and quin says Dante I seen that U aren't playing for at least another 10 games. Lol.

"Dante! I told you to close your mouth when you run!"

Or maybe...

"Dante! Stop dribbling. I said you were a basketball player, not a point gaurd"

Or maybe...

He was really right handed all along.

He told him to trim his sideburns.

Tony Jones is basically saying on Twitter that...

- The Jazz don't plan on making trades

- None of our rookies will play at all this season

- The Jazz bench unit just needs to build chemistry

In other words... the organization is going to stubbornly ignore the glaring bench problem and we're stuck with this. F****** great.

Bro chill... they believe in this team. They trust the product they put together and have faith in it. If there’s a problem, there’s plenty of time to address that in the off-season.

Yeah that was interesting. Wasn’t sure if he meant he was physically not quite 100% yet or what. Weird

He is a 7 foot Aussie that played at St Marys and was MVP of the WCC his senior year. Wasn't drafted but put up monster numbers in Vegas last summer and has an NBA opt out in his Euro contract. He and JIngles are tight. Yeah it is Jock not Jack.

No I think it’s more that he’s had NBA offers but his team won’t release him this year.

I'm not sure how much stock to put into his takes any more. During our hellish road-trip someone on Twitter suggested Quin needs to sit down with the front office and get on the same page with regards to Dante. TJ's response was that they are on the same page but when pressed on the topic said something like "I haven't seen anything to suggest they're not on the same page, so I'm not going to speculate they're not." IOW, he doesn't actually know, so he's going to say they are on the same page, in spite of nightly evidence to the contrary.

Same with the above - he hasn't heard anything about any potential trades, or any changes to the rotation, so he's going to say none are planned rather than admit he doesn't know.

Are you able to point me to the podcast or article where this was mentioned?

Why the secrecy? Is it effort? Has he checked out mentally due to no playing time?

Because I've heard nothing but glowing praise that he's doing all the right things, and staying professional through this whole ordeal.
