The official "let's impeach Trump" thread

Personally, I really really really hope that this ends the escalation and that killing Soleimani was the best decision. Talent matters and he was their mastermind. Being implemented by incompetent leadership raises the risks.

And I hope Trump was right and will give him credit if this turns out that way (just like I have credited him for China trade policy, deregulation, prison reform, etc.) I know this won't stop trump cultist from continuing to say that I mindlessly oppose trump (while they mindlessly support trump), but facts are facts and they don't matter to the cultists.

I am concerned that this is the equivalent of the "Mission Accomplished" moment, since I believe Iran's more likely strategy is to attack us with "death by a thousand cuts," each of which do not reach the threshold for us to attack 52 sites including cultural sites.

So let's hope the victory dance is not being held in the pregame ceremony of a long game.

Look at you sounding all reasonable and stuff. Keep it up!

What are the chances of a new Iranian nuclear agreement? That's the real issue here. We just incentivized them to make a nuclear weapon asap. Do we still kill Soleimani if Iran already has a nuke? Doubt it. So I think shredding the nuclear agreement and escalating this situation the way we have has actually increased the chances of Iran developing a WMD as quickly as possible.

Which is right on Trump's brand. He always screws up. The dude would've made more money had he done nothing with his money and left it in a bank account.

Oh rly? Do you live inside the rat hole Patreaus told Soleimani to go pound sand down?

You need a thesis written to you personally of all the supposedly mythical evidence of Iranian meddling. Elite level crackpot **** that only you would come up with.

Or... evidence?

Oh my...

President Donald Trump has been accused of committing a war crime after claims that Iranian General Qassem Soleimani was lured to Iraq, where he was assassinated by a U.S. drone strike on Friday.

Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi stated that he was due to meet the elite Quds force commander after he landed in Baghdad for talks that had been agreed to at Trump’s request.

What happens if that's verified?

Stop with the false choices. Most people's brains are big enough to realize that the choice is not between "do nothing" and "killing Soleimani"

I think we should kill the entire Iranian government's leadership, and if you criticize me, you are in favor of "doing nothing"

You are a Trump cultist. Whatever Trump does you will mindlessly believe is the right action.

Go ahead and play armchair general byctelling us how the US should have responded to Iranian military aggression against the Untied States, but don't pretend that you're fooling anyone for a second by claiming you wouldn't be hear bitching all the same no matter which of the choices Trump had decided.

So how should have he responded, armchair tough guy?

You're the armchair tough guy though aren't you? Assassinating their top general was a great way to get thousands of Americans killed and plunge a region into war. Way too risky.

You're delusional. Who in their right mind can blame Trump, or any other head of state for that matter, for responding to Iranian aggression? Only a half-witted TDS sufferer.

Iran has repeatedly attacked the United States and other countries. Can you hide your tail any further under your balls as you run and cower in some dark corner away from Iran?

His position is absurd. The last two administrations have had the opportunity to assassinate Soleimani and they both passed, because they figured it wasn't worth the blowback. And here's an idea- maybe Iran wouldn't be helping insurgents in Iraq attack American troops if we hadn't sent them there and destabilized the entire region.

My favorite part of his argument is probably where he invokes their attacks on Saudi Arabia as a justification for us ramping things up against them. As if us getting more involved is somehow going to make things better, or that it's any of our business in the first place.

Maybe he's just looking out for our weapons manufacturers *shrug*

Yup, you have nothing of substance to add to the conversation. Ignoring.

Yep. Which explains why @Heathme created this alt. Most people blocked him. So I guess he thought this alt would buy him some more time. But soon his alt will be blocked by most posters. So I’m not sure what he’s gaining.

Maybe he was dropped as a child?

Warmonger.
