I like udoh a lot and hope we consider adding him. But it is a sorry state of affairs when signing a player like udoh amounts to a wet dream tbh.

Udoh is a big big plus on the defense compared to what we got. It takes away that weakness in the second unit. Teams would never go on a 27-1 run with Udoh playing. Him plus 4 shooters would be fantastic.

Our winning percentage with one Aussie is much higher than our winning percentage with 2.

All I know is he barely saw the floor when Faves was around. For the playoffs, I think we should at least entertain the possibility of a Tristan Thompson or a Bogut.

I’m all for any of the above, but Thompson is under contract and DL has already balked at the idea of Bogut numerous times. I think Udoh would be much more switchy.

I think you’re underrating his defensive impact.

It would be a monster upgrade on defense... his offense is worlds better than Ed... and might be better than TB. TB offensive rebounds more, but I swear his numbers are slightly inflated due to rebounding his own misses that he should have made the first time. Say he gets 2 offensive rebounds in his 12 minute stint and 1 of them is because he missed the first tip or had the shot blocked... it hyperinflates the per36 numbers.

People forgot how good Ekpe was on defense... he got a ton of blocks but also gets deflections and can move his body. Really good passer, but the offense will be carried by JC, Mike or DM for the bench minutes anyway.

I'd be calling him every hour... I'd guarantee him the backup minutes... hell I'd promise a front office job when he retires. This is where Ed's money should have gone... we should have told him he'd have all the backup minutes this year... we should have not picked up TB's option (anyone think he'd get 3.5M on the open market this summer?). I blame Ekpe leaving on DL's love of TB.

Yes... Favs was the backup center... he was so good when one of those guys was hurt though (in the first year). If Favs and Rudy were on this roster and healthy he wouldn't get playing time.

Cut the effs out of NWG and beg Ekpe to come home.

I meant if he got bought out. I always loved the game of Nene and he’s available now. I know he’s old and hasn’t been getting minutes but still he’s gotta be better than Udoh.
