Jazz v. Suns -- tipping now...

Last year’s team actually competed and was entertaining. This year’s team is awful to watch on the occasion that they win and dreadful to watch when they frequently get blown out.

like it’s been unwatchable for most of this season.

Was it really more watchable when we lost because our whole team was open for a reason?

Whether it was actually more watchable or not, we weren't a better team last year. For all the heart and soul that team had, still one the same amount of games and still got destroyed by HOU. This team "could" be better at least.

There's no denying that mistakes were made. I think Conley was the worst move of the summer by any team. But I find it funny that people are pining for a team that wasn't any better than this one we're so frustrated with.

That look on Synders face at the end there ...

Wow coke and coffee ain’t going to fix this one ...

You just lost to the guy you gave away
the fact that people blame quin for this is puzzling. i mean there is currently zero thing you can do from a coaching standpoint to fix this team. it's size and physicality. and you can't teach height. guys will blow by conley/bojan/niang regardless of how hard they try.

I don't want to f******* hear it after their laughable effort on that end tonight. These two guys need to do what they are jawing.

Wednesday night will be the 4th game in a row where they get embarrassed on the court and respond with "we need to play harder". Yeah, I'll believe it when I see it. This team would rather embarrasses themselves than put in the effort to compete.

I guess now they're all stars they feel they don't have to be held to the same standard as the rest of the team. In reality the bulk of the responsibility lies on their shoulders. Lead by example and the call people out for their dog **** effort. But first, lead by example!

They’re unwatchable.

Last year’s team + Bojan is much better than this year’s team with Conley. The Conley trade ****ed us up.

We wouldn't have Bojan. We wouldn't have had money to get Bojan. We would have had basically the same roster.

And last years team had stretches where they were just as atrocious offensively and unwatchable as this years team is on defense. Remember getting smacked by 50 in Dallas?

The difference is that last years team had no answer to fix the offense. We simply did not have the offensive firepower.

This years team has the answers to it's problems. It's simply a matter of playing with effort/heart.

It can’t be anything else than a chemistry issue. Something is toxic in that locker room and it’s on the FO and coaching staff to identify it and put an end to it.

Rudy looked pretty pissed that Donovan didn't get him the ball when he had that little guy guarding him.

What's with the attitude, Rudy? Not like you would've taken advantage of that matchup. Maybe learn ONE back to the basket move and then your teammates will trust your clumsy a$$.

we fix the offensive problem by creating a new problem on defense. remember getting smacked by 40 at the half in Toronto?

not sure playing with more effort/hear is gonna help when you are physically outmatched by opponents who are simply bigger, stronger and quicker than you.

i'm sure nobody at JFZ has any problem with WHY we needed to fix our offensive, but with HOW we did to fix it.

like i'm fine if we didn't get bojan. i'd rather get someone who can shoot/score a bit without hurting us so much on defense and rebounding.

Oubre dunks on and punks Rudy. No one comes to back Rudy up. Pathetic.
Wait, that happened? That is very odd...
I wonder if there’s some resentment from when Rudy called out the team’s lack of effort or if it’s been snowballing ever since

Disagree. Earlier in the year when gobert called the team out for not getting him involved they started getting him touches and we were more successful. He's right they need to run it through gobert. Get them worried about the big guy and it opens up all kinds of stuff for everyone else. Leave him standing on the wings and then you have to fight the entire teeth of the defense to force a bad shot at the rim.

Not a Jazz jersey in sight. The minivan backs away, and Conley ignores it.

Agree and Quin gets some blame for going away from him.

I agree with the earlier post that this years team/system is not as easy on the eyes... that being said the team is better in almost every way as far as talent and potential goes. The fact that the players and fans are so upset after every loss shows the level of expectation that should come with being a contender. Keeping the faith over here.
