classic definitions:
Communist Utopia...… Stateless..... no bureaucrats or even laws. Essentially, the idyllic dream of jellyfish floating happily in a warm sea, with no predators and lots of absorbable stuff to support life. No borders, no cops, no Republicans..... Actually, no sentient humans capable of scheming anything or doing anything that anyone could possibly object to.
Mormon Law of Consecration: A sea of do-gooders solicitously importuning everyone to take their stuff if they need it. All under the all-wise Bishop's counsels of course.
Socialism: State owned stuff, under the all-wise benevolent management of experts and corporate hacks doing revolving door careers between government regulators and corporate honchos. Elections, of course, managed by offshore vote-counting monopolies owned by extra-special honchos.
Capitalism, in the eyes of liberals: Piranha feeding frenzy over every loose ***(et).
Capitalism, in the eyes of megazillionaires: My stuff, my way, or the highway.
Capitalism, in the eyes of ordinary people: Freedom..... the right to take care of one's own damn ***(ets).
At heart, when it comes to one's own money, we are all Capitalists. But when we see an angle to take care of other peoples' money, we are all socialists.
