It doesn't work that way. They are only testing high-risk individuals because testing is still not widely available. My daughter talked to her doctor, who told her she can't be tested because she is low-risk, and even if you call the CDC they have a touch tone questionnaire that will tell you if you are allowed to be tested. It isn't just as simple as walk into urgent care and ask for a test.

I would if I wouldn't get fired. But I can't lose my job so I will go to work.

If you miss 6 days in a year then you are fired. I missed a day last August and I missed a day in February cause I went to the doctor and was diagnosed with pink eye.

I can only miss 4 more days of work or I'm fired. I have a ton of PTO that I would be willing to use but I can't.

I would look for a new job but the one I have pays me well and has good benefits. Especially for someone who is lacking in skills and education like myself. I have been there for 17 years now.

Yes it does. Everyone there agrees that it's the worst thing about the job. The other aspects to the job are pretty good though.
