Coronavirus

And I guess he missed my point that he said there u.s. only had so many cases per million and I was pointing out that cases are going to increase.

Lol, what you think I thought this virus that hasn't even touched it's peak yet is going to just suddenly take a hiatus and leave? I am 100% fully aware that this virus isn't going anywhere anytime soon and that numbers will skyrocket for at least a week or two, at least. This conversation must be too complex to understand, that I'm talking about the mass fear pushing doomsday numbers not the virus going to Cancun on spring break.

Death rates in China outside Hubei are very low. They are .008%.

That's slightly lower than the flu. The biggest reason death rates are high are because of overwhelmed areas such at where it started.

He didn't... I just didn't know the exact number off hand but I did know the 75 million of infected. Once again if we do the math if 3 percent of that 75 million die, that would be 2,250,000 deaths. I'm being EXTREMELY generous with that 3 percent because as right now we in America are at 1.3% according to the tracker that I've been posting here. So to correct myself 160 deaths is absolutely nothing compared to 2.2 mill others are talking about. 106 deaths for a little over 17 million people. America has something like 327 million and at this very moment has 263 deaths. Per capita, America is below average. My unbias source is below.

106 deaths isn't the final number though. The number increases daily. 106 doesn't matter. What matters is the rate that the deaths are increasing.

Why does that graph say 3 months though? Who said it's going to go away in three months?

Nobody knows... That's pretty much my point. If you look at the mediums though (which are semi consistent) by population America is pretty average on the per capita stage. Now are these numbers about to jump? Definitely... At astronomical numbers like 75,000,000 sick? Or...205,479 per day for an entire year? I just don't see how it makes sense... The total cases in the world is 276,123 but we're about to have that daily? Again, it makes no sense.

Do these astronomical numbers makes sense yet? We're talking about 20-50 percent of our population. I keep bringing this up but no other nation is even close to a half of a percent of it's population. You guys are talking 20+.

New Jersey-890

4 Democratic States accounting for 12,184 of the 19,658

I understand that those numbers don't make sense to you. They don't make sense to me either. I don't think either of us are mathematicians, scientists, doctors, statisticians etc though.
So I'm not gonna simply poo poo numbers away when those numbers come from someone who specializes in that kind of thing.

Gravity doesn't make sense to me. I trust that it exists though and that there are those who can explain it.

This is a great thread:

it compares flu and pneumonia cases this year to each year in the past decade. It shows that Covid19 is already everywhere and is being interpreted as the flu and pneumonia for lack of better testing. Utah is in bad shape compared to past years.

Doctor's short address strikes a chord...

A little dramatic and really offers no good advice outside of what we know but yeah a serious message. Time to stop relying on China for all these extremely important things she's saying they we'll be short of. Time to become self reliant "again"... Many of us cult have been pushing this for years and been called white nationalist for it.

Many smart people were wrong about gravity though before we knew what it was. Many people thought the world was flat. Smart people said glaciers would overrun the planet in the 1800's(and 5 or 6 times in the 1900's).

To just accept these peoples words without challenging them just doesn't fly with me. Now I've looked for the numbers to back up said claims and can't find anything on how they got their doomsday numbers. If any of you has any such info, I'd appreciate it. Again these numbers they(some experts agree with me) are insanely astronomical. You can even look at Thrillers graph that conveniently leaves out America has in most cases 250,000,000 more people and we're only in the 50,000 ill range after 2 weeks. We're pretty damn consistent with the rest of the world.

If I'm wrong, I'll own it even though it does seem people here want me to be wrong for obvious political reasons. But there is not one statistic out there that suggest hundreds of thousands will get sick each and every day. Theres not even that many current cases between 195 countries COMBINED, but we'll have that daily. Again 200,000 plus a day need to get sick for the next year to hit these numbers.

America still waaaaaaay below average for deaths per million. And yes Mo, these will rise.

Sanctuary and Democratically run cities are still absolutely a danger to America unsurprisingly. A whopping 65% of the cases come from 5 Democratically ran states that never once showed any sort of safety concern toward current residents. That party and the way it runs things being completely inept is an understatement.
