Tough Day To Be In Law Enforcement

Possibly. Apparently, this crew was asked 10 times or so to move and they ignored it. I think it should have been resolved without an arrest. Someone with a brain should have talked to the crew and said - look, here's the situation, could you guys move to a specific spot where you can still report.

Doesn't he offer to move during the course of the video?

Not to be an ******* but I'd imagine most days are tough in law enforcement... What type of sane individual wants to spend their time enforcing rules upon strangers and being on scene for all sorts of horrific accidents? plus paperwork, and most likely super dooshey (and alcoholic) co-workers...

Someone who could really use the $$$ is the answer..

The psychological profiling cops go thru is completely and utterly flawed too, lemme demonstrate it in this post. It's not really a solvable issue but it should be WAY more advanced than its current state -- which is laughable... IMO this is the real elephant in the room, and tbh I'd direct much more blame towards the hiring processes than some of the individuals involved, who should've never been handed a gun/enabled in the first place...

cuz, right, whats the answer to this question; Which kind of person would talk to some older cops who've long passed thru the psych profiling, find out the questions/answers that pass, then just echo them verbatim???

The answer is once again --- Someone who could really use the $$$....

and that is a major systemic issue IMO.. It shouldnt be that easy to bypass the profiling, but I assure you it is......The hiring pools for the lower teir cops out on the beat are an unimpressive lot though, and they need warm bodies out on the street so it's just a cursed/untenable situation thru and thru..

A group of a couple hundred protestors gathered in downtown SLC at a police station by the City Library. Police are arriving in droves.

It looks like things got destructive. I saw a cop car for flipped over and lit on fire. A group of proud boys showed up and talked **** and got their truck messed up. I think it's still going from the videos I've seen posted. The crowd is very angry and worked up.

Yeah so if the median was 70K for all of Minnesota, for Minneapolis itself it's likely higher (around 90-100K?)...with OT, the guy might've been making around 120K.

Ugh, good luck SLC. We're supposed to have some sort of rally a couple miles from my home on Monday.

It's not a cop car. There was a skirmish between protesters and guy in that car. The guy pulled out a bow and arrow and threatened protesters with it. Then they jumped him and his car got turned over and set on fire.

That might have happened as well. But there was definitely a SLC police car flipped over and lit on fire. Also pooped on by a girl. I'm watching videos on snapchat. It looks near the library next to the Trax line.

Okay, I just watched another car get flipped over. The guy threatened people and pulled a crossbow out. Then got taken down by the crowd and cops dragged him away. Then the crowd turned and flipped his car over and burned it as well.

SLC has a curfew now with the national guard there.

Curfew in downtown Salt Lake City from now until 6am Monday. Yet neither the cops nor the protestors have made a move, other than little skirmishes (throwing water bottles and rocks at cops, etc). No idea how they are going to disburse the crowd.
