Favs Reunion

So Tony Jones said on his pod that there is interest on both sides for a reunion between the Jazz and Favors. Said it partly depends on how much the MLE is when the cap situation gets squared away.

This is somewhat surprising to me. I'm not sure if we'd give him the starting PF/backup center role or something else.

TJ is tight with Favs so I trust it, but he kind of made it a coinflip. Anyway... thought it was interesting and Jazzfanz always loves bringing guys back.

I love Favors. We should do anything we can to bring him back. We have greatly missed him this season.

TJ has also said it is very unlikely we move on from Conley. I think he plays his deal out here. If we moved Ed MLE wouldn't be hard to offer.

I need to filter through the salaried players out there, but I think it’s conceivable that we move Conley for a different player with 2 or 3 years remaining on his deal. Conley could be valuable ballast. DL/JZ definitely needs to explore these options.

I need to filter through the salaried players out there, but I think it’s conceivable that we move Conley for a different player with 2 or 3 years remaining on his deal. Conley could be valuable ballast. DL/JZ definitely needs to explore these options.

There might be but I don't think they are thinking this way personally. I mean they clearly didn't want him coming off the bench this year at one point... I think they are fully committed to him, but this end of season may tell us what we have.

Maybe they aren’t thinking that way (even if they definitely should), but Conley could be thinking he wants out.

Off subject slightly but on my NBA2K GM mode, I was offered (wasn't looking) Porzingis for Gobert and a 2nd rounder.

In the real world? Hell no. Hell *** no. Porzingas is always good for half a year then mediocre the 2nd half, or injuries. Hell no.

Porzingis is a beast on 2k. So is Gobert, though if you play him right. I would def ask for more.
