I can't fault Conley for that. This is a decision you make 100 out of 100 times... but it's still super frustrating for the fans....

From our acquisitions in last off-season we will get the following contributions for the playoffs:

2. Conley - 0 for the first 3 games
3. Ed Davis - 0
4. Jeff Green - 0
5. Mudiay ... hopefully not negative contribution

I think that there are 2 keys to this series.. First, Conley. If Conley is on, the nuggets don't have a solution to guard both he and Mitchell. If Conley doesn't show up then we are going to be hard pressed to compete with their bench.

The other is Gobert not getting in foul trouble. I think he got it foul trouble in 2 of the match-ups with Jokic this year. He really slows down Jokic and when he is on the bench it is bad.

After posting that I saw Conley is missing for the first 3 games. Wowzah!

I actually love mitchell and Ingles at the 1 so I think our offense will purr. This may be a blessing in disguise... maybe.

Couldn't we just send Ed Davis to change little Conley's diapers instead..I know, it's understable of course, hopefully we will keep it competitive before he comes back, good that Donovan had some practise at running point recently.

I don't think any of those two will sniff the floor. Hopefully Mudiay will be effective with his midrange.

Indeed we gain defensively and with size with Conley out.

We do if his minutes means some wathever combo of Oni/Brantley/Morgan instead of more of Clarkson/Niang (and i'm not sure Mudiay would be this much better defender).

Maybe I’m a hater, but Conley’s absence is having very little impact on how I view this series. As long as he is replaced by a more capable perimeter defender, then the impact could be fairly small.

Congrats to Mike. I don't blame him at all for the decision. The season is definitely over now though. I can't see a realistic way that we win this series now.
