That mock is team needs included and Okoro is actually a good bit higher on my big board, him and Josh Green actually take the biggest hit their vs my bigboard..If this happened, I'd bet Utah would be on the phone trying to get Okoro.
That would be cool. I'd prefer Precious lands in a spot with a real center like Utah, I think it'll be good for his game.Ringer mock had us taking Precious. Which I am fine with.
We are MUCH more likely to move back than forward imo. Like if we can turn the 1st and Ed into a rotation player and a second we do it.lmfao, Okoro isnt dropping out of the lottery, much less all the way to 19.
Jazz also have practically no ability to trade up unless they want to trade future picks, which would be moronic.
I don't think that's true at all. Jazz don't even have much of a place for another rotation player unless they are trading Bogey. Only position that could really use a replacement is Tony Bradley, and there is no way in hell the Jazz are trading the pick just to get a backup center. We are MUCH more likely to move back than forward imo. I think picks in the top 10 could move more than normal this year, but I don't see the asset we have that we'd be willing to part with.

I expect the Jazz to keep the pick and use it. Only way I see them trading up is if they deal Bogey to move up to get a late lottery pick + bench rotation player. I doubt that happens though.
Do u have to use MLE on Clarkson if we have bird rights? We are gonna be close to the tax once we extend JC... IF we use MLE then we are all up in the tax. I think we could use the pick to get a high second rounder this year and more seconds next year or to get a second and unload Ed's deal. The cap difference of $1.7M will be meaningful in avoiding the tax.
They may have someone they really like though... they might be convinced that they should roll with TB and that they can fill the rotation player need with Morgan, Oni, Brantley on the cheap. I just think its more likely we move back with the assets we currently have.
No... but if you re-sign JC and use the MLE we are going to be a luxury tax team... I don't think we cross that line this year.Do u have to use MLE on Clarkson if we have bird rights?
