Coronavirus

It was predicted months ago that a vaccine would be out and the Covid scare would quickly fade away as soon as Trump loses the election. We are there, and the coincidence is happening.

Now, No Mask November. Sick of these things ! (j/k)
Yes, vaccine success was predicted by many for the end of the year, but I'm not aware of any reduction in "Covid scare". My employers just informed me I should expect to work from home through the spring.

"No Mask November" is being brought to you by the same people who have been downplaying covid19 all year, which is a different group than the one Trump meant when he claimed covid19 worries would die down after the election.

Vaccines can prevent disease. Moderna just released results claiming theirs is 94.5% effective. And, they can ramp up production instantly and have the entire nation pricked in short order!

What are some of the symptoms you’re experiencing? Hope you feel better soon.
They aren't too bad. Runny and stuffy nose, sore throat, headache, fatigue, back ache.
All of those symptoms are on the milder side though.
I feel ok ish
Thanks

I’ll be honest, I’m not interested in reading the Bill line by line. But I do find it hilarious 2 things:
1. That Republicans are acting “fiscally responsible” in trying to get funds to people not corporations. That flies in the face of everything we’ve seen for years. They don’t care about fiscal responsibility. They don’t care about “the working man.” If they did, they wouldn’t have passed tax cuts for the rich and they wouldn’t be suing to take away the healthcare of millions.
How does my original post disagree with this? I said
"The situation requires both parties to do the right thing I don’t blame Republican lawmakers for trying to be responsible - even if it is extraordinarily hypocritical, given the last 4 years."
What exactly are you arguing with me about?

2. Republicans are “looking out for the little man” rather than hurting the economy to hurt the incoming Biden presidency. Cmon, let’s not fall for Lucy’s football again. They’re merely repeating the same playbook used against obama. Hurt any and every effort to rebuild the economy in hopes of killing Biden’s presidency in its infancy.

Repubs have had since May to figure this out. As I’ve posted before, this is the ball game. Don’t give them credit for things they haven’t earned:
Again... who's giving them credit for anything?
Did you read my original post?

Here it is in its entirety:
My understanding is that there is only a small fraction of the total amount that would go directly to taxpayers. The rest is earmarked for some very specific industries and areas, and is quite unfairly distributed. As you know, that could be a bad thing.
The situation requires both parties to do the right thing I don’t blame Republican lawmakers for trying to be responsible - even if it is extraordinarily hypocritical, given the last 4 years.

I very plainly state that I think the Republican Congress has been ridiculously ineffective over the last 4 years. I called them hypocritical for attempting to be fiscally responsible now, given the **** they've pulled recently.

So what exactly are you arguing with me about, Thriller? You seem to be so riled up that any concession to sanity, even by those that have been insane for some time, deserves no credit at all. I have repeatedly demonstrated a dissatisfaction with Republican legislative leadership, and don't even get me started on the current administration.

But that does not change the fact - the Democratic relief bill is quite unfairly distributed.

Let's not be so "anti-Republican" that we fail to scrutinize what the Democrats are doing as well. That's just pure, unadulterated partisanship. And if that's the tact you're choosing to take, you can no longer state over and over that you're bi-partisan and just think current leadership is looney.

What's hypocritical about it? The CARES ACT came when everything was in a tailspin and unknowns. Now, Americans are flush with more cash than ever. It'd be stupid to send those not in need additional $1,200 checks. Good on the R party for being responsibke and not caving to Pelosis insanity. Everyone knows she was the one holding up a secondary stimulus this whole time. Alk she cares about is partisan politics.

So I got tested today just now. It was negative.
The PA said that its only 75% accurate though which is kind of lame

I used Premier Diagnostics in Lehi. Said they’d have results in 24-48 hrs. I got there early in the morning and only had to wait for about one hour. When I left the line was snaking through the parking lot. I’d guess it was a 2 hour line at least

IHC has a ton of locations but you have to schedule them 2-3 days into the future. Sucks.

Glad yours was negative.

I had actually scheduled a test for tomorrow morning at about location but then found I could get it done today at my doctor.
I might just go get the other test done again tomorrow to be sure
