If you want to wait a long time for the results use www.testutah.com

Other than the possible benefits of waiting for your results I'd say anyone else would be better. The good thing about testutah is that it is all appointment based (still drive through) and it is 100% free. They don't even collect your insurance info.

I've taken two tests, one early summer and I sat in a drive through line for over 3 hours. The appointment based test I was in and out in less than 15min. I got my test fast, but I took my test on Tuesday and I'm still waiting for my results. Since I have an employer who pays my wages while I wait I'm okay with it. If that wasn't the case it would be a massive deal breaker.

This vaccine, unlike Pfizer’s, does not require storage at very low temperatures....



From the CNN article:

While the two vaccines appear to have very similar safety and efficacy profiles, Moderna's vaccine has a significant practical advantage over Pfizer's.

Pfizer's vaccine has to be kept at minus 75 degrees Celsius. No other vaccine in the US needs to be kept that cold, and doctors' offices and pharmacies do not have freezers that go that low.

Moderna's vaccine can be kept at minus 20 degrees Celsius. Other vaccines, such as the one against chickenpox, need to be kept at that temperature.

That means Moderna's vaccine can be kept in "a readily available freezer that is available in most doctors' offices and pharmacies," Zacks said. "We leverage infrastructure that already exists for other marketed vaccines."

Another advantage of Moderna's vaccine is that it can be kept for 30 days in the refrigerator, the company announced Monday. Pfizer's vaccine can last only five days in the refrigerator.
 
The stupidest take I've heard in a while is that D's want Covid to hang around so they could continue to lay the noose for it at Trump's feet - even after Biden begins his term next year. It also allows them to turn us into socialists beholden to the government. These are propagated by the usual band of idiots on Facebook, Twitter and other dark corners of the internet who still believe that Trump won the election, Soros/Gates are trying to kill us all and that QAnon is very real.

Like anyone likes the BS we've been through the past eight months - no vacations, working from home or in dangerous workplaces, not seeing loved ones, overrun hospitals, etc. I want a vaccine ASAP so we can get back to normal life.

I’ll be honest, I’m not interested in reading the Bill line by line. But I do find it hilarious 2 things:
1. That Republicans are acting “fiscally responsible” in trying to get funds to people not corporations. That flies in the face of everything we’ve seen for years. They don’t care about fiscal responsibility. They don’t care about “the working man.” If they did, they wouldn’t have passed tax cuts for the rich and they wouldn’t be suing to take away the healthcare of millions.
2. Republicans are “looking out for the little man” rather than hurting the economy to hurt the incoming Biden presidency. Cmon, let’s not fall for Lucy’s football again. They’re merely repeating the same playbook used against obama. Hurt any and every effort to rebuild the economy in hopes of killing Biden’s presidency in its infancy.

Repubs have had since May to figure this out. As I’ve posted before, this is the ball game. Don’t give them credit for things they haven’t earned:

It was predicted months ago that a vaccine would be out and the Covid scare would quickly fade away as soon as Trump loses the election. We are there, and the coincidence is happening.

Now, No Mask November. Sick of these things ! (j/k)
