Mitchell fastest to 600 made 3-pointers all-time

2.5 per game. I see that going up for him. He'll end up being fastest to nearly any 3-point number you choose to look at imo.
 
I’d like to see shooting percentage stats on the first 600 3s of Mitchell, Heild, Lillard, Thompson, and Curry.

Based on eyeball averages of the first 4 years:

Hield 40%
Lillard 36%
Thompson 42%
Curry 44%
DM 36%

If you wanted to positive spin this, you could say he was able to accomplish this feat without being privileged to make these shots at a higher percentage, making it harder to obtain this accomplishment.

Something like that.

And he also got his team a lot more chances at offensive rebounds, which means extra possessions.

I appreciate the fact that tnt didn't mention percentages when they brought up Mitchell's milestone. Definitely would have taken some of the shine of the accomplishment

DM is a superstar and a stud. He does not have to apologize for anything. He is still improving and just think about it he wasn't the first option on his college team.

Or you could say he was the only scorer on his team with no help so he didn’t get as good looks as the other guys?

The above numbers tell you that, albeit the percentages are approximations. Just divide 600 by the percentage with a decimal in front of it.
