Conley hamstringing again

Rudy is going to the media whining. We have no idea what Don's social media is referring to.

Why don't you whine about the clear and obvious instead of playing Nostradumbass on what you think Don is or isn't saying.

2 weeks ago? Yeah I absolutely know what his social media posts attacking the training staff were about lol. Mike is not going to do that.

Oh, you're talking about when Donovan's people were upset about Donovan sitting out yet Donovan being ready to play and then we lost?

tbf the medical staff deserves to be attacked.

I don't know if it's for lying about the severity of players injuries or being overly cautious to the point of absurdity with bringing them back in the playoffs, but definitely one of those two things.

Hope it goes well for him.

It may not be smart but the Nets and Harden understand sometimes you have to chance it... championship opportunities don’t come around every year.

At some point I think we have to realize this with Mike... if he is comfortable risking it. If he doesn’t come back game 5 I think we are sunk unless the clips have a completely cold shooting night like the Nets had in game 3.

Reinjury basically means he’s done... could mean he ends up tearing it. Or he tests it and it is okay.

My guess is the training staff follow their protocols just like the coaching staff... basically managing things the same way because that is what works... I don’t think they are doing some sports science analysis where they can tell with certainty that he is or isn’t ready. I think it’s all murky water and at some point you have to jump and hope it works. We gave him two full weeks last time and ended up back here... same thing as the time before that... two weeks last season and the. He came back and was out a month... basically at this point I think you cross your fingers and hope he has 10-15 more games in him. This issue isn’t going away... 12, 14, 30 days... it seems to resurface.

An unfortunate thing I just heard said by MacMahon of ESPN on Spence’s show just barely is he’d be “surprised” if Mike plays tomorrow. ****.

Something happens to Harden tonight they will get RAKED OVER THE COALS for it.

Championships? Dawg, only one team wins the championship. On the other hand, every team has training camp and we're going to need Conley healthy for training camp, if he comes back. Need time to get people to gel and camp is the best time. I wish people weren't so short-sighted.

I think my perception is warped, and unfairly so, by the Stockton & Malone Jazz. It's unfathomable to me that neither would not chance it and play. Unless Conley literally can't, and if that's the case, it's not mild and he's not questionable, I just don't get how you don't knowing the end-game here is not only losing out on his best chance at a NBA title - but doing so with a franchise who's never won it.

And yes, I know Malone missed a Finals game his final year due to injury but that goes to my point: if it's mild, he needs to play. If it's worse than it is, and he can't play, the team is doing him a disservice by calling it minor and keeping him questionable.

Yup... scared money don’t make none. Training staff has no reason to stick their neck out... if they get canned for being too conservative they can hang their hat on better safe than sorry and we are the pros here.

This is almost certainly Harden saying he is playing... so he can take the blame... I doubt this is a KD situation... but maybe.

If it's mild as they're saying, absolutely he needs to play. If he can't play after two weeks, it's not mild and they're lying to us.

Here's you're catch 22 for tonight: if Harden plays and is healthy, Nets have better chance of advancing to finals. If Harden plays and gets hurt, their chances of advancing to the finals are significantly shot, as are ours, because there's no way we'd watch that and not decide to shut Conley down longer.
