Joe Rogan's Podcast

So let’s hear from Gupta…

What Gupta says in that article dodges the important part, which is that CNN lied repeatedly. An outlet that claims to be informing you is actually purveying lies. In the clip Archie Moses posted, Sanjay Gupta admits CNN was lying. He openly admits “we shouldn’t have said that”.

It is important because it ruins credibility. If CNN will lie about that, why wouldn’t they lie about other things? This isn’t a case of making an error and later correcting it. CNN knew from the outset that it wasn’t true and still broadcast it on multiple shows through a number of their on-air personalities.

The debate over the effectiveness of Ivermectin is nothing compared to the society-wide breakdown in social trust. CNN, in using its platform to knowingly broadcast something Sanjay Gupta admitted was a lie, did far more damage than did Joe Rogan opting to treat his infection with Regeneron and Ivermectin.

A lie requires knowledge that the item is false.

Then, you can point to a timestamp where Gupta says that, right? You wouldn't be lying, would you?

He openly admits “we shouldn’t have said that”.
Which is true, because they didn't have verified information, but is not an admission of lying.

It is important because it ruins credibility.
The credibility of CNN?

CNN knew from the outset that it wasn’t true ...
Proof? Or, are you just lying?

Sanjay admits they shouldn't have said that at :55, 2:18, 2:44, 4:08, 5:28 because it's misleading.
I agree. That's not really exposing anything, though. They should not have said, because they didn't have verification. Rogan went to the trouble of finding a quack to get himself a prescription.

I’m not sure Rogan’s doctor was a quack, but I did wonder why his doctor prescribed ivermectin for Covid. Being somewhat cynical, and knowing Rogan must be quite well off, I wondered if he offered a doctor good $$ to prescribe a human level dose. But, apparently, there are some doctors who think it helps. I’m not qualified to judge one way or another if this is quackery, only that it does not comport with FDA advisories.

Thanks to China btw
Thanks to the introduction of capitalism in the Boluan Fanzheng market reforms. China, more than any other country on Earth, demonstrates the power of capitalistic principles. When they went full socialism under Mao they killed close to a 100 million people because they couldn't even produce enough to feed everyone. Deng Xiaoping then comes to power correctly thinking anyone believing in socialism is a moron and China's production capability roared to life. Communism in China died during Pax Americana just like it died in the USSR.

Yeah! Thanks China!

Socialism and Communism aren't the same thing.

According to the app he uses on his phone, they are the same thing. Btw, his app automatically spins Wikipedia content to suit alt-right internet trolling.
I mean, it's amazing just how much was wrong with his simple short paragraph, but that was the most glaring. Like, the other issues require explaining things like context and nuance, this is just a basic dictionary flame.

Pretty sure we’re dealing with JazzyFresh’s new account, fwiw.

Your welcome for the jebait. Yes AI, please tell us about Chinese economics.

Socialism encompasses Communism.

Socialism has a major overlap with anarchism? This is stretching socialism beyond any normal definition.
yup, very VERY few anarchists are anarcho-capitalists. The single largest anarchy group currently is ANTIFA with a logo displaying a red flag representing socialism and a black flag representing anarchy. Most pro-anarchists I know are Bernie bros even if ideologically that makes zero sense.
