CJ McCollum pulling a Game 5 Donovan Mitchell and letting his team down.

So much for rookies cant be trusted in the playoffs.

I can't help but smile everytime the fans chant "refs you suck". It's cute.
 
Jaden McDaniels was another guy the draft scouts questioned about work ethic and love for basketball. I let that affect my judgement of him draft time but at least I didn't make the same mistake with Edwards. Nice of Minnesota to draft them both.

We might need to temper our expectations of how drafting Bane, McDaniels, or Jones would have actually played out here.

For starters, Quin has his guys and it is no certainty whatsoever that any of these players get a significant chance. In the case of McDaniels or Jones, they might have been **** defenders here too because the problem is more the system than the roster in my opinion. Whatever ability or desire to play defense is in a player, it quickly gets dispatched by Quin's system that seemingly preaches laziness.

Weird how when he got here he loved defense nearly as much as cocaine.
 
Has the embiid injury been discussed in here?
Sixers were up by 29 points with 4 minutes left and embiid was still in the game. He got concussed and is out indefinitely.

I dont know if the sixers had a real shot at a title anyway but they definitely dont now.

Sounds like he has a broken orbital bone in his face also. Speaking from experience, that's not much fun.

Yeah and now he's all about Kool aid and green jello and singing kumbaya and positive affirmations.

We're good enough, we're smart enough, and, doggone it, (some) people like us (except Rudy).
 
Giannis drives the ball right down the middle of the court, draws defenders and gets guys open looks. So does Jokic. So does Doncic. Having a big ball handler is such an advantage. The Jazz really miss that.
 
We don’t talk enough about having two first rounders in the Giannis draft and using both to trade up for Trey Burke….


Dude is just the greatest in every way. Couldn’t ask for more from a superstar (in a small market too). A once in a lifetime player. And opportunity..
