What's new

Burks will be Rookie of the year.

Ahh, well this I sort of agree with. To my knowledge, Kanter has more offensive moves in his arsenal than Favors. However, with this said, we don't know what Favors has practised over the summer, and he has said that he can see himself being a 20/10 player this season. This season shall be an exciting one, to say the least.

When did he say that?

I actually believe sepanol is a legitimate Jazz fan. I really do. AKMVP, no way.
.

You do not know me. I've been Jazz fan way longer then half of you here. Way before O'Connor became GM and way before sepanol started following Jazz and Okur.

No competition? You realize he went up against Marc Gasol, Dirk, Chris Kaman, Joakim Noah, and a bunch of other seasoned European vets this past summer, right?

Consider the possibility that not everyone is as ignorant as you are.

Since those 17 minutes per game he got over there mean everything. I mean all 17 minutes he was in he was playing against NBA talent like Favors was last year.

And for you to call me ignorant is like calling the kettle black. The fact GVC that you back it up with nothing but names means nothing. Even the youtube video of him backing down Gasol means nothing.. it was 2 points.

My point is that everyone is automatically praising Kanter without seeing him and stating he has a much better post game than Favors.

I mean since you watched all of his Euro games are you referencing this game?
14 minutes, went 1/4 from the field with 1 rebound vs Spain (GASOL)

or this game?
14 Points - 7 Rebounds - 7/9 vs. Portcugal (Don't know any of those players)
or this game?
19 Points - 5 Rebounds - 3 Assists vs. Poland (Don't know any of those players)

Also to his credit he went 5/5 against Germany but since you mention Dirk, he didn't guard Kanter on any of those EXCELLENT post moves.

If he has good footwork in Europe, he'll have good footwork here. It will be harder to use successfully due to difference in the strenght of the defenders, etc., but the basic skill will still be present. If you have good shot mechanics in the D-League, you have good shot mechanics in the NBA, but still might not be able to score as well.

Morris Almond had a great stroke in College and the D League didn't he?

That's pretty good for being 19 years old and having not played full speed basketball in 2 years, pal. He had like the 15th best PER in the entire tournament, and Turkey's group was the toughest.

Never once said it wasn't good - just saying does he have better low post moves/footwork than Favors when we have so little to judge him on? Oh, and I'm not your pal, pal.
