Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

Tony also said he's very confident that the Jazz could get into the first round for Bogey, but he said the Jazz really value Bogey. He also made a strange comment that the suspicion is that the true movement and turning over of this roster will probably happen by this time next offseason.

I REALLY don't want to run it back again next season.
Me either. We know how that story ends.

Sometimes, he'll ride along with Shams.

I kind of feel the same way... he's never really broken some big trade/roster move.
He doesn't break news (unless its Favs related). He will tweet after Shams something like "I can confirm with Shams..."

He is in the know for sure... but in a way that Locke is... he reports in ways that are team friendly and the messaging the team seems to want out there.

Also if you are on willing to do a deal with Williams plus like 3 first then you aren't being really aggressive. You might be active but that isn't aggressive.

Portland's '23 pick, Chicago's pick this year and Patrick Williams would be decent value if either team can find somewhere to send Vucevic.

I don't see the Blazers making the playoffs in the WC yet.

We can't suck and get Donovan to the AS game... if we trade Rudy we mostly likely will suck. We have to make Don happy and the AS is the most important event in the next decade. People definitely won't immediately forget about how Donovan scored 12 points in 10 minutes in the AS game.

I didn't think we would do anything to be honest. They want both Rudy and Donovan to represent us in the All Star game. Hopefully we can pick up some better defending wings with a Conley trade.

I like TJ, but unless the report is about Favors, his reporting/writing is always "it could happen, but it also couldn't".
And he may know... but I think when you work for those outlets you best let Shams or Woj drop the news or you out.

The pick is lotto protected forever so they better make the playoffs if you want that pick.

Welp, then we'd better hope Atlanta is just posturing.
In a sense.

I'm sure they want Gobert, but they cant afford him so now they walking it back to keep Capela's ego from being hurt too much.

Like I've been saying the last 3 days. None of the teams heavily attached to Gobert (Chicago and Atlanta) will not trade for Gobert. A team that gets Gobert, if he gets traded, will be making their 1st serious offer against the draft clock.

I am going to freak'n scream if they end up getting nothing for Bogey if they run it back. I am not surprised they cannot get a trade for Rudy. Part of me is very glad they cannot but that contract is the reason why and it isn't going to get any easier as he gets older. I cannot believe that the Jazz cannot find someone to take Bogey or a package of Bogey/Royce should get a good draft pick or a younger player. The real problem is the Jazz organization hasn't caught up with the NBA. You need length and athleticism and guys who can shoot and play defense. You have to give up some talent to get some talent. It also makes it difficult when you have no current draft picks. I am not optimistic that Utah will be able to make significant changes to improve the team. I hope I am wrong.
