Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

Because NBA players were famously cautious during the pandemic
The LEAGUE itself was packing 20000 people in arenas without ANY precautions whatsoever and was letting players play a game with physical contact where bodily fluids were exchanged on the daily. What Rudy did was stupid and callous, but lets not act like everybody knew what was going on at the time and like Rudy was some sort of exception. There have been dozens of cases of much worse behavior around COVID since then from NBA players, and this was after millions have died. Rudy paid more than his fair share of the price for his foolishness.

20/10 means nothing is absolutely hilarious.

Here is the list of players to average 20/10 this year.

Jokic
Embiid
Giannis

That’s the list. Means absolutely nothing… right.

Kanter has never averaged or even came close to 20/10 in his career but yeah sure!
It's because at the time he played for a good team with Rudy Gobert and Derrick Favors at center and then for playoff OKC team with prime Westbrook, Durant/PG13. His per 36 numbers were something like 20-25/13 for a while. The year he actually started for OKC he was 19/11. Had he played for a bad team where winning was not priority(like next year's Jazz would be if we ship Mitchell for picks) at the time he very likely would have been 20/10. Or do you want me to actually pull you 20/10 guys that didn't impact winning and were just scoring on bad teams because ... well... it's the NBA and SOMEBODY has to score? There are plenty of examples. Kanter just popped into my head because he was on this team.

Last year only jokic, embiid, towns and vucivic averaged more points per game at the center position. Ayton younger and cheaper than all of them and played less minutes per game than all of them. Also plays better defense than at least a couple of them. Also went farther in the playoffs than all of them I think. (I could be wrong on that one)
I think ayton is very undervalued right now. Which could be great for us cause he is available without having to give up much seemingly.

He’s massively undervalued it’s astonishing. His per 36 numbers were 21/12 this year as the second or third option on the team!
