Thank you, you are picking up what I'm putting down.
So does DM look way bigger than Brunson in comparison to the other guy in this pics? Don't say that one step towards the camera makes that much difference.
I wish we could get pics of 6 NYK future 1st round draft picks hanging out in Ainge's front shirt pocket at a Buzz game with Grimes or something.
I wonder if Donovan will ever pull a MJ and try a baseball career. He seems to really really love baseball.

Article from Hollinger kinda says what I have been saying the last little while on the Don trade... why are we saying we don't want players like RJ and Herro? You can lock them up for 4-5 years beyond this one and it will be a great deal. Will be even more true is you get them to take a slightly declining deal or flat and decline later. Neither guy is currently worth the max... but both guys could be values in 2-3 years when we are trying to be good... and would have more value than adding additional picks.
The alternative of opening up like 80M in space... when everyone has space... will mean it has lower utility in trades and in signing guys. This is a version of the Hayward extension decision... if the cap is 50% higher in 3 years then players you sign now to long deals will end up being values.
Its also another reason to pursue a sign and trade with Sexton... there are a couple other extension eligible guys out there like PJ Washington that you could lock up now... but I think there is a slight market inefficiency here that we aren't planning for correctly by insisting on only draft picks and guys on longer rookie deals.

They basically the exact same height, Donovan is just an extremely broad individual.

Declining value would have them around 27M a year the last three years which is like $16M a year in today's cap translations.

So, what if we traded the Kings a 2024 pick from somewhere (say we send Clarkson or Beverley or Conley or Bodgnovic somewhere for a 2024 first). At that point couldn't they deal us their 2023, 2025, 2027, and 2029 picks for Mitchell?

4 unprotected picks, 3 swaps, Harrison Barnes, and Davion Mitchell
No, they would have to make their 2024 1st unprotected to Atlanta first.
Nah, you just take the part that’s protected and have it convey to us, then have further provisions given that scenario with the rest of them. But I haven’t thought about it so I’ll see myself out.
