Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

I mean that Conley contract would look pretty nice should anything untoward happen to Chis Paul this season, or Wall for that matter. . .

Clarkson and Bogey seem like really good fits for PHX. There hasn't been a lot a talk about PHX making trades, but they have all their picks, don't care too much for picks, have good salary match for Clarkson/Bogey, and could really use those players. They're lacking some juice off the bench and scoring depth on the wing.

I like Bogey/Clarkson + Gay for Shamet + Saric + 1st

As far as Conley, I see no buyers right now and I'm not hopeful his value gets much better. Conley looked toast at the end of last year, not just the playoffs. He could not create anything without a massive Gobert screen. I think it will be very evident that father time has come for him.

I think they would have interest but I think they want to keep Dario. They also won't eat any bad salary... Sarver about to pay the luxury tax and you know he sad about it.

I could see JC for Shamet+Craig and a 1st. Similar deal for Bogey but might get Jae (to send to another team) instead of Craig or Shamet. Jae's name has been in a few rumors... think he may be on his way out there.

Yeah I don't how they feel about Dario but it could be done with or without him. If they aren't convinced on Dario, I could see them taking the Rudy Gay bait to play a similar role.

Conley is too good in the regular season. We need to find a place for him on another team.

Just spit balling, but Charlotte needs some talent to keep Lamelo appeased. Would be consider something like Bogey, Clarkson, and Gay for Lord Voldemort, Washington, '24 swap, and 25 mildly protected? Nothing would give me greater joy than to watch Big Evil squirm.

What good does adding players do right now? None at all. I promise Ainge is looking for as many firsts as he can find. Wants to be as asset rich as possible to build a team next year or in 25

Edit: idiot!!

Yeah, Ainge really doesn’t want to add young talent at all. He just signed Sexton to a 4/72M deal for fun I guess.

Ya and they were going to get players back from the Knicks too but wouldn’t add a third unprotected so he dealt with the cavs. It’s been rumored the jazz didn’t take back McDanials so they could get picks. What about that deal screams to you the jazz have interest in players? They want to lose the next year or two and use picks going forward on young stud prospects and trade chips.

It was McDaniels vs two 1sts… I’m thinking Ainge made the right call there regardless.

If you think the Jazz don’t want young prospects on cheap contracts you’re more of an idiot than I thought.

In fact I don’t even know why I’m wasting my time with this because you are so clearly out of the loop it is a waste of my time.

High value easy to move pieces that would either help to move up in the draft or trade for a star. That's picks and valuable low cost players. I think season record is third on Danny's priorities. Well maybe it is fourth - fun is a priority too apparently.

Adding young players definitely helps. If we could somehow get Allen and Beauchamp for Clarkson then you do it in a second. There is no way the Lakers are giving up 2 firsts in the scenario mentioned though.
