Keep the cap space and sign good players.
If we didn’t move anyone else we could get to 63.3M in cap space next offseason. We have room to take a bad contract or two.
That’s even counting guys with player options opting in.

Good, they can use that to sign more good players or save it til 24 to sign even more good players. If we didn’t move anyone else we could get to 63.3M in cap space next offseason. We have room to take a bad contract or two.

I'm not taking 4 years worth of *** for a late first.
Just give me Shamet and one pick. I'm ok with that.
Well they aren't doing all of that to get off him.I would take Robinson if it included Jovic + 2023 1st + a pick swap later on or for a 2028 or 2029 1st.

Yeah, but simply freeing up 16 million dollars isn't changing anything about their ability to sign free agents anytime soon. They will probably look to dump him when he gets closer to his contract being expired. What do you mean? Isn’t his contract ****ing terrible?

They desperately need to get off his deal if they are bringing back Herro or Strus. They will be in mega tax next season and have generally never been in the tax... combined with the cruise industry getting destroyed right now I'm guessing a salary or player dump is coming for them in the next 12 months.Yeah, but simply freeing up 16 million dollars isn't changing anything about their ability to sign free agents anytime soon. If our goal is to get space for next year and picks then I have no idea why we did that deal. The timing was also really weird. That Pat Bev trade was trash by us.
