2023 NBA Draft Megathread

the jazz are about middle of the road in rebound differential - so this is a case where everybody can be right. are they a horrible rebounding team? no. is there room for improvement? absolutely.

I'm tired of the Jazz getting outrebounded every game. Please bring us some length/athleticism in this draft Danny Ainge.

Teams often outrebound the Jazz from the guard and wing positions. It's not our bigs, necessarily. Mike Conley doesn't rebound or box out very often. Clarkson doesn't do it consistently. If you look at the Bucks game the other night, most of their guards and wings had at least 4 rebs. each.

Some of our guys naturally go to the boards and some of them don't. It's also notable that Rudy Gay isn't rebounding as well as he did last year.

Big Board Heading into Conference Play: Quick board, probably forgot someone.

Jump on the bandwagon before it's too late

Back to the rebounding discussion: All the more reason to be very high on Brandon Miller. Dude is one of the strongest rebounding freshman wing prospects in recent memory.

Not sure how to run it, but I'm sure if you ran his rebounding rate w/ his 3pt rate/percentages it would be clearly elite for any position.

yup. subpar game offensively last night, but 14 boards. one of the things i liked about him coming out of HS was his motor - just seemed to always play hard. coincidentally, i thought shooting was going to be a weakness.

you get a guy as skilled as he is, who shoots as well as he does and who plays hard, you draft that guy really high.

I don’t but some podcaster I was listening to made it out like he may not end up playing this year when he first had the injury… like maybe it was a just be safe and not risk it type of thing. It was more in passing than like a deep convo… but I raised my eyebrow when I heard it. Was like a “if Nick plays for Arkansas” type of thing.

For me this hurts my dream of getting Black… he’s gonna put up bigger numbers and see his stock rise… sad face.
