Participants provided saliva samples for testosterone assay before and after the contest. In both studies, mean testosterone level increased in the fans of winning teams and decreased in the fans of losing teams. These findings suggest that watching one's heroes win or lose has physiological consequences that extend beyond changes in mood and self-esteem.

Sorry ladies, now is not a good time.

LOL!!!

So would the conclusion be that if you're having ED problems, you should consider switching teams?

Your team is determined more by genetics than anything else. We don't really have a choice, as Jazz fans, we were born this way.

Well that explains the decades-long lower than normal birth rate, and subsequent baby boom, in Boston now doesn't it?

Well you put the 2 together and it is a wonder any kids were ever born there.
Actually there were just quite a few trips to other places.
Vacations, Anniversaries, Disney World, the Caribbean, El Paso, Valentines day.
I think there were actually quite a few unsuspecting move ins.

If this study is true, I will consider myself lucky that my ***** has not inverted and turned itself into a ****** considering my 2 pro teams are the Utah Jazz and Miami Dolphins.

Hell, look what being a 9er fan prior to this year did to poor old Katie MCR.

I think I might be a schizophrenic and you are an alternate personality the U, Jazz and Phins if you're favorite hockey team is the Pens then I'll be convinced I'm talking to myself and not even know it.

You are my new favorite poster. If nothing else, at least I know there's somebody out there suffering as muh as I do. I'm actually not that in to hockey, thus I don't have a favorite team, but just to complete the circle I will try to become a Pens fan....

It looks like Jazzfanz wives will be deprived for awhile this season. Or maybe they will consider it a vacation. ;)

I wonder if margin of loss increases the loss of testosterone, if so and if the season keeps up like this we can all have a girls night out and get our nails done as our outies will become innies.

LOL!!!

And to carry this one step further, I wonder how it correlates to the players on a losing team? If so, that's kind of a double whammy! And then wouldn't they perhaps play less aggressively, and spiral further downward? This could be bad fellas, this could be bad...
