No way. They also need some contracts that go into next year because they don’t have enough functional cap space to fill out a roster… they just roll with Russ it ****s em next year and this year… Lebron and AD ain’t gonna be playing forever.

They have multiple needs… no one trade addresses them all. They have Lebron and AD… add a few role players/shooting and pray you get some injury luck. The west is weird… couple key injuries and you never know.

I’m guessing Beasley Vando may be a better fit if they get Conley… I also think everything they do will be win now but also leave the door open for a sign and trade of a free agent… a certain one that just went to Dallas. So having the option on Beasley versus JC as a free agent may be ideal for sign and trade purposes… they can repackage Mike/Malik for Kyrie when it doesn’t work out in Dallas. Go look at Kys quotes today… dude ain’t learned ****.

They shouldn’t… but you can use Beasley in a trade or just keep him… JC may be harder to use in a sign and trade. I think the deal keeps some options open and Jc isn’t under team control… I think it’s fair… I just think if they stand pat it’s malpractice.
