Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

Helps Curry's efficiency when he's not being the focus of attention.

Pick an argument guys. You can't take every angle.

Don has been the absolute focus of our opponent's defense for 4.5 years. What he has done, has been pretty legendary. But keep on bashing him lame *** fans.

Of course it helps his efficiency, but he’s also proven over time he’s efficient on his own. You didn’t want to use FG% for a reason, so don’t cozy up to it now.

And yes, Donovan has been the focal point of the offense. But to say he hasn’t had good quality weapons around him is ridiculous. The Jazz had top tier offenses under Snyder.

Of course Curry looks amazing in hindsight. That's what makes this hard, but I'm talking about the first 5 years.

JUST IN THOSE 5 YEARS, there were things Don did better than Steph, and things Steph did better than Don. Overall, they were about the same player - good on offense and not good on defense. That was my whole point.

But once again, people are out there clutching at any straw to beat down any attempt to celebrate Donovan Mitchell.

I didn't say Don didn't have good weapons. I just said that Curry had better ones. Curry has gotten to play with Klay freaking Thompson. One of the best two way players in the history of the league. An elite shooter. Monta Ellis was also an elite scorer for a couple years there.

You don’t seem to enjoy being here. Others don’t seem to enjoy you being here.

Like I said before - this is a like a Trump rally. Everybody with the same toxic mindset. Everybody is on board with just dumping Donovan and losing as much as possible. I'm holding out hope that we don't stoop to those levels.

I hope we keep Donovan and win ballgames. I know we would.

Holy **** - a couple percentage points better when he is surrounded by better offensive players.

You got me guys. Steph was on another planet his first 5 years. No comparison at all.

You lame asses will do anything to downgrade Donovan Mitchell. You just hate the guy. So pathetic for so called fans. You guys would rather lose on purpose than support Donovan Mitchell. You are disgraceful fans.

You honestly think Donovan's career arc will mirror Steph's career arc in years six and beyond?

Steph is the greatest shooter ever (EASILY), one of the greatest guards ever, and revolutionized the NBA over the past ten years.

Donovan is an excellent, All-Star caliber basketball player. Stephen Curry is a general talent and will go down as an all-time great.

Quite a leap.

Again, saying he’s not Curry is not beating down on him. It’s being intellectually honest. Don is a great player, nobody here is saying otherwise. It’s just that nobody other than you (and for good reason) believes his first 5 years track with Curry’s. You can spin and explain away all you want, but it’s just the plain truth. They were not playing at a similar level during those years.
